Hey guys, this is the last story in the little series!! It's set a few years later, hope you enjoy and any comments/reviews are welcome! Thanks!! ;DChapter One Abby was finding it difficult to get comfortable in her bed. Lily’s feet were digging into her back. She turned around and moved her five year old daughter’s feet from her back, and turned back around. Lily’s feet went right back to their favourite position. Abby sat up looking at the clock on her bedside table and groaned. It was 2 a.m. Abby looked over at her daughter and husband. Lily’s head was resting on Luka’s belly and he didn’t seem to mind. He was sleeping soundly, as was she. Her hair was fanned across his belly. She had an angelic look about her; people were always complementing how precious she was. Abby smiled. A sigh escaped Abby’s lips as she creped out of the bed and walked into the hallway, trudging her way to Lily’s bedroom. She had to manoeuvre herself just so, that she didn’t trip over the several toys that were scattered about on the floor. Lily was her messiest child, yet. Lily, however, said it wasn’t messy, but instead that she liked it this way, because she knew where everything was. Abby plopped onto Lily’s bed, trying to make herself comfortable on the small twin bed. Lily had had the stomach bug all week and been residing in her room. And now Abby was beginning to feel like she might be coming down with it. Luckily it hadn’t hit the other kids, but Abby couldn’t afford to get sick. The hospital had been packed lately and she was incredibly busy. Just two years ago, Luka had decided to cut his hours tremendously and be more of a full time father and a part time doctor. With five kids and two doctors as parents, it just seemed like the best plan. Luka loved it. He loved being daddy, and wondered why he hadn’t cut back his hours earlier and been a stay at home father sooner. His kids were his life. Had you told him seventeen years ago that that would be possible; he would have laughed in your face and denied it completely. But not now, now he loved everything about it.

Thanks so much you guys, here's the next chapter!! ;DChapter Two “Mommy,” Lily sang into her mother’s ear. “Moooooommmy!” Abby jerked up as Lily’s high pitched squeal entered her ears. She sat up yawning and stretching her arms. “Morning, mommy,” Lily said sweetly as she grinned, showing her teeth. “Time to get up. Daddy told me to come get you.” “Remind me to thank your father,” Abby stated sarcastically. Then she put her hand on Lily’s forehead filling for a temperature. “Looks like your feeling better. You can go back to school today.” Lily placed her hands on her hips and shook her head. “I don’t think so, mommy. I still feel a little nauseated.” Lily explained, as she dramatically placed her hand on her forehead. Abby chuckled. “Is that so?” Abby questioned her little drama queen. Lily nodded, as she sighed and covered her tummy with her hands. “I think I may throw up again, so I need to stay home another day,” Lily told her mother, matter-of-factly. Her locks fell foreword and in front of her eyes. She pushed them back, but they just fell back in front of her hazel eyes. Abby tucked Lily’s hair behind her ears. “There,” she told Lily with a wink of her eye. “But, you’re going to school today. You have missed all week, and today is Friday. So only one day. It’ll be fun. You love Fridays.” “But I don’t want to go,” Lily pouted as she stomped her foot. “Please, mommy. It’s just one day.” “No, you can’t, not to…” A wave of nausea hit Abby quickly, and she pushed herself up and ran to the nearest bathroom. She pushed past Lexy, who was walking toward the bathroom, and rushed to the toilet. “Mom?” Lexy questioned from the hallway. The fifteen year old gagged as she heard her mom heaving in the toilet. “I’ll go get dad...” she offered as she quickly made her way around the sounds of her mother throwing up. “Daddy,” Lexy said as she walked into her parents’ room. “What?” Luka called from his bathroom. “Mom’s throwing up, in my bathroom,” Lexy told her father. “It’s pretty gross.” Luka popped his head out from behind the bathroom door, with a concerned look on his face, “How does she look?” “I don’t know,” Lexy exclaimed. “I wasn’t going in there. That’s gross!” Luka rolled his eyes. Lexy didn’t have a doctoring bone in her body. She didn’t like anything bloody or gross. “Oh okay,” Luka closed the bathroom door and got on his pants and shirt as fast as he could, before running of to Abby.

Thanks guys, new update..... ;DChapter Three When he made it to the hallway bathroom, he found her emptying her food into the toilet. Her body was shaking, and he sat next to her, pulling her hair out of her face and began rubbing her back. “Oh, Abby,” he whispered. She almost responded, but another wave hit her and she began heaving, yet again. Luka brought his hand up to Abby’s head, and frowned when he didn’t find a fever. “You aren’t running a fever,” he told her. “What else hurts?” Abby sighed, as Luka handed her a wad of tissue paper to wipe her lips off on. She laid her head on her arm and closed her eyes, trying to keep herself from throwing up again. “Nothing,” she finally told him when she felt she could speak again. “I’m just really nauseous. I knew that this was going to happen. Someone had to get it after Lily.” Luka ran his fingers through Abby’s hair, as she remained still. “Want to get up and go lay down in our bed?” Abby shook her head. “Are you sure? I’ll carry you.” “No,” she murmured, before sitting up and heaving into the toilet again. “This sucks,” she complained. “I cannot be sick today. Lee has detention, Lexy has her party, Lily and Lana need new shoes, and Luke has that project due Monday, not to mention that the hospital needs me.” “Abby, I’ll get the kids, and the hospital will have to deal without you today. You’re sick,” Luka informed her. “I know you can handle the kids,” she said with a sigh. “But leave me to get the girls shoes, okay? I know you are all super dad and all, but last time they were the wrong sizes and Lily’s were way too flashy.” “Oh, but she loved them!” Luka said with a smile. “Yes, but our kids go to a Catholic private school, they can’t wear flashy shoes with their uniform,” Abby sat up pushing her hair behind her ears. “You know what, I’m feeling better. I think I’ll just go to work.” “Ab’s…” “No, really, I’m fine.” Later“You don’t have the stomach bug,” Coburn informed Abby as they sat in her office. Coburn had caught her throwing up earlier and insisted on doing a check up, just in case. She didn’t want Abby to be really sick and making herself sicker as well as making the others sick. “Is it the flu? Cause, I can’t have the flu now, it’s just not convenient.” “No, not the flu.” “Well, what is it?” Abby asked, wondering what could possibly be making her so sick. “Abby,” Coburn said softly, knowing that there was going to be shock, “Well, you’re pregnant….. Congratulations.” “What did you just say? You didn’t say what I thought you said did you?” Abby said, as her eyes widened with alarm. “Yes, you are pregnant Abby.” “No,” Abby stated bluntly. “I can’t be. Luka had a vasectomy. We aren’t having any more kids. We have five Janet. Five kids. I can’t be pregnant.” “Well, you are,” Coburn informed her. “You must have made a mistake. I cannot be pregnant. Janet, please tell me this is a mistake, or a horrible joke. That’s it, isn’t it? Please tell me that is it.” “Nope, sorry, But you are very much, indeed, pregnant.” Abby sat silently for a moment, letting those words sink in. Then she placed her head into her hands and began to cry.

Thanks guys, new update!! ;DChapter 4 Abby stood in the kitchen throwing random food products into the bowl in front of her, as thoughts raced through her head. Pregnant? Again? She shook her head and began violently mixing the contents of the bowl. This could not be happening to her again. She already had five kids, well six, if you counted Hannah. And not to mention, that happily married Hannah was pregnant. Didn’t that almost make her a grandmother? No, she could not be pregnant again. That was not fair. She had done her part in keeping the world populated. She was through. Abby paused. She couldn’t be through; she was pregnant. And she would probably get pregnant again after this one, and again and again. It didn’t seem to matter what measures she went through not to get pregnant. She would just always be a baby-making machine. A sigh escaped her lips as she began to cry for the eighth time that afternoon. This was not fair, she thought again, as tears slid their way down her cheeks. The slamming of the front door caused her to jump. Looking over to the clock, she realized that the kids were home from school. So, Abby quickly wiped away her tears and got back to mixing the odd substance in the bowl. Another slam of the door caused Abby to jump, yet again. “I hate you!” Abby heard Lexy scream at the top of her lungs. “I HATE YOU!” Abby looked up from her mixing bowl, curiosity filling her features. Lana and Lily sheepishly made their way into the kitchen eyeing their mother quietly. “Is Lexy yelling at Luke?” Abby whispered to her young daughters. They both nodded, their eyes wide. Lily crossed the kitchen and over to her mother. “Luke told Lexy that she couldn’t go out with some guy,” Lily informed her mother. “They screamed all the ride home. It was loud.” Abby looked over to Lana to see if this was true, or just some over dramatization of Lily’s. Lana nodded. “I can’t believe you,” Lexy said harshly as she walked into the kitchen. “You are so judgmental! I am a big girl, I can take care of myself.” Luke followed behind her, but never said a word. “I can’t even begin to describe how much I hate you right now,” Lexy seethed. “I just…” “That’s enough, Lexy,” Abby stated calmly. She didn’t have time for this. Too much was going on, this was the last thing that she wanted right now. “But mom!” “I said enough!” Abby yelled. “If you can’t stop, then go to your room. Just go to your room.” Her eyes shifted around the room. “Wait, where’s Lee?” “He has detention, remember? You said you would pick him up,” Luke informed his mother. Abby nodded, that was right. How had she forgotten? Lee always seemed to be in detention. “Oh okay.” “Mommy, are you okay?” Lana questioned as she noticed the stack of cookies on the counter. It was then that all four children stopped and looked to their mother. They all knew her. She baked when she was upset. Something was clearly wrong. “I’m fine,” Abby sighed. “Just go upstairs, all of you. I just need…just please go upstairs.”
