This website has some cute little things about Maura from the Emmy Gift Suite and what she did: lastheplace.com/2010/08/30/p-f-changs-home-menu™-frozen-moments-gift-lounge-celebrates-emmy-awards/“The Whole Truth” star Maura Tierney channeled her inner Audrey Hepburn as she tried on a pair of Pretty Ballerinas flats in black suede – she said “These are so old Hollywood – I love them! “The Whole Truth” star Maura Tierney admitted that she has hair-scent envy! She shared that co-star Frances McDormand hair smells amazing – she uses Moroccanoil – and she wants the same hair scent!

Tara I believe you might be right, I think Maura may have been accompanied by Richard Shepard. I missed the first two hours of the show so I recorded it. When they were showing the nominees for the very first award of the night there is a shot where you see Maura and she leans over and talks to the guy to her right who looks like Richard Shepard. You see mostly his face, and I'm pretty sure it's him.
About the dress, I loved everything about it. It was so traditional and classy, and I thought the color was great, it was different than all the black and navy that so many others wore. I guess I'm in the minority, but I loved the earrings too. She looked so elegant and radiant!

I was a little bummed not to see her mentioned on any of the best dressed lists on shows like Entertainment Tonight or E!'s Fashion Police. I know they typically only focus on the "big" stars and the winners/nominees, but still....she was stunningly gorgeous and definitely one of the best dressed ladies on the red carpet.
And while on one hand I wish she would have stopped for a couple of interviews along the carpet, on the other hand I'm sort of glad she didn't. I can only imagine what kind of idiotic questions someone like Ryan Seacrest would've asked her. "Sooo, you had cancer...what was that like?" *shudder*
Oh and littlewonder - I'll check my Tivo tonight and see if I can spot Richard Shepard!

Yeah, I would have liked to have seen some interviews, but I'm holding out hope that we'll see her on a talk show soon -- I can wait for that.

"Sooo, you had cancer...what was that like?" *shudder* Ryan Seacrest would NEVER ask something like that - he is a very talented interviewer and has been doing E! News very professionally for years. I am sure that after the first season of TWT, he (or E!) will have interviewed Maura already, either on the red carpet or in some other way. I think they would have asked her exciting questions about the new show and how glad they were to see her, if she decided to get interviewed. But I am surprised that E! Fashion Police didn't have any little clip on her in their special.

I asked Jennifer Rade, the stylist, on Twitter about Maura's gown and she said it was vintage from a store in LA called The Way We Wore.

Oh thanks again for all the fresh pics I was browsing through that link where you also could vote on the dresses and found a pic with Maura in the back! hehehe On this pic she has her purse, where did she leave it when she was in front of the camera's? And the guy right behind her, could it be Mr. Shepard? Maybe he walked with her purse hihi Every time I watch the pics I think *OMG* haha She is so gorgeous, I think we have to find a new word, coz there is no word, that describes her perfectly The other two were posted -bigeer- before here I thought

Bet if any of us lived in LA, we'd be paying that shops a visit, and we wouldn't be asking the cashier what dresses they have in stock! Hehe

"Would you happen to have any orange/reddish/tangerine colored gowns with a floral lace pattern in a teeny tiny size?" I think it's very cool - and very Maura - that she went that route instead of going with a big "name" designer.
