Whahahaha thanks Josie! "On TV, this looked dark orange (although here it seems to match the red carpet), and I love that choice. She pulls it off beautifully, and it stood out because everybody else wore navy this year. At first I was worried it looked like a Palm Beach matriarch's drawing room drapery, but the more she moved, the more it sold me, and now I want to invite her over for college football and a long gossip session about whether Goran Visnjic is as hot in real life as he was on ER. The Tier would tell me. And she'd let me call her that. And then we'd call Paul McCrane and be all, "Seriously, they crushed you with the helicopter that sliced off your arm?" And then the Tierleader and I would sing the Fame theme at him and LAUGH and then he'd consider taking out a restraining order, but we wouldn't take it personally, because me and the Tier Hunter? We're not uptight like that. So, I'll see you Saturday, Tierdrop! Wear navy and gold."The Tier? Tierleader? Tier Hunter? Tierdrop? Seriously, he/she must be on the forum with word like that! I love the Tierdrop, that is cute. The Tier would tell me OMG so funny! And I love love love the comment on LG outfit!! ugh... One of the ugliest dresses of the evening boohoooo TIER means animal in german so that's confusing me a bit LOL but yes it's funny!

Finally finished my own Emmy vid thanks to Kizzy. Hope you will all help me promote it a bit Thanks I never knew they also filmed in the green room and make up room....Is that new or was it every year and did I miss it for the last 10 years? Yes, it was the first time and I took advantage of it ;D

I haven't posted in quite a while but after seeing Maura last night at the Emmy's I couldn't resist.
She looked STUNNING! Thank you so much for posting all the beautiful photos!
Does anyone know who the designer of the dress is? Some say the color was orange but it looked almost red to me.
Either way, it was so good to see her healthy and happy. May all good things come to her in the future. It's time.

Thanks everyone for all your hard work with the pictures and the videos.
I watched E! for the red carpet walk and didn't see her. I was so dissapointed about that, then I came here and Chiki had already gotten the pictures up, so that made up for it. I ended up recording the show since it was going to run well past the time I normally go to bed and today was a school day and I had to get the 15 year old man child out the door. So I got to watch the rest of the show this morning. I really wish Julianna had won, but the award she gave to George Clooney sort of made up for it.
I'll be a bit honest here, I like the shape of the dress and the way it fit her and the lace overlay, but I'm not crazy about the color. I don't know what color I would have had her wear, just not that one. The shoes ROCKED!! How in the world does she walk in them?!
All in all, it was a great show and we got to see "our" girl in action again. Now on to Stand Up 2 Cancer on the 10th.

Just a heads-up that the TV Guide channel is doing their fashion wrap-up show at 8pm tonight and E! is doing their's at 10pm. Hopefully we'll get some praise for Maura and her beautiful gown.

Yeh! I also wanna know!! I thought the earrings didn't match at the dress, but I guess they thought about them, coz inside it looked like they did match! I love the dress, and it's a bit of a strange color, but it suites her!! Indeed the shoes rocked! OMG they were awesome!! I guess there will be people who think the dress was more of a tablecloth or something or a piece of curtain. And if you take a good look at it, it could have looked that way, but the shape and fabric and all, AND HER FACE ensured that that wasn't the idea (I have the feeling that if LG wore that dress, al lot of ppl did say something like that ;D again, her dress was sooooo WRONG)For me, these pics are truly the best!!! They rise above all other pics so far I think! (And I loved her make up too!)

Did anyone record ET's coverage tonight? They were interviewing Julia Louis-Dreyfus (about 5 minutes in) and there was a super quick shot of Maura behind her. There was a guy standing next to her, looked a lot like Richard Shepard to me, but it was too far away to tell for sure.

Made a long vid of all the behind scenes clips and I'm working on a vid of the presentation too : Hi Martine, thanx! Love the continuity and the caps you so carefully add to with your videos.

The stylist who dressed Maura last night, Jennifer Rade, was one of the commentators on TV Guide's "Fashion Wrap" show tonight. They just showed Maura briefly and one of the other commentators said she (and the other celeb Jennifer dressed - Carrie Ann Inaba from Dancing With the Stars) looked lovely, but there was no in-depth discussion about her.

So many mixed reviews about the dress! I loved the shape, length, and neckline, but I agree with Kathy - I was not crazy about the color. Although I do have to admit that SHE pulled it off! I don't think anyone else could have pulled it off so beautifully. Aslo, her hair was perfect! I love how everyone is referring to it as the "sexy pixie cut" because it really is.
Thank you everyone for the photos, videos, tweets, news, info, etc etc etc. You are all wonderful (I know I tell you all the time) but seriously thank you. It was so fun talking to everyone live last night about what was going on AS it was going on.
I love the photo with Tina Fey - glad they stayed friends after "Baby Mama" because Tina rocksss!
