Susan puts her bag down and hugs Abby.
"I work for Carter's foundation..and he asked me to come and visit with you to sort out the "Richard problem" I was going to offer him a job..but I just heard the news..."
Luka smiles..."Good to see you Susan..I have to get back to work.."
He backs out the door and leaves them to talk..
"So tell me about it.."
Abby shrugs.." His girlfriend murdered him....not much to tell"
Susan scratches her head..."Kerry already filled me in on that and I am sorry...how are you doing with all that..I bet Luka has been a great support..."
Abby smiles shyley..she can tell Susan is fishing for gossip.
'Yeah he has been great...listen ..I really have to start my shift..so can we meet up later..."
Susan smiles "Yes we can...I am here for the night...and I am staying with you.."
Abby laughs "Okay..here I will give you my key and I will see you around 7pm okay..?"
Luka waves to Susan as she heads out the door to chat with everyone. "Catch you later"
Luka sees Abby washing out her coffee cup.
"Are you ready to start your shift now...?"
Abby gives him a quick kiss on the cheek as she scoots past him
"Yes boss..I am..."
Luka notices her mood has improved.
"Do you wanna do something after work...?"
Abby stops and turns back around
'Sorry ...Susan is staying at my place tonight.and we are gonna catch up..you know girlie stuff...."
Luka nods "Yeah I know ..I can't be there ..but you will be talking about me..no doubt.."
"Abby grins as she opens the door."
'Your name might come up..."
Luka follows her back out to the desk and resists the urge to reach out and touch her..
"You have something on your sleeve.."
He watches as she removes it and discards it into the bin...even something as mundane as removing lint makes him want her..to touch her and hold her...but not tonight...he can wait.

It was after midnight and Susan was so drunk she could barely put her pyjamas on. "Uh oh I think I have my pants on backwards...."
Abby watched as Susan struggled to switch her pants around.
"I think you have had too much to drink Susan.."
Susan protests
"Well you don't drink so I had to drink enough for both of us.."
Abby heads to the kitchen to make coffee.
"I am a hard working woman and need to relax a little occasionally and how often do I get to hang out with you and .."
There is an almighty crash in the bedroom.
"Susan ..are you okay..?"
There is no response so Abby heads in to investigate and Susan is passed out cold on the floor.
"Oh my god..."
Abby guesses Susan lost her balance and tripped over and hit her head on the bed as she fell...
"Susan....Susan.....wake up honey..."
Susan opens her eyes.
"I'll have a pina colada and a beer chaser thanks.."
Abby shakes her head.
"Follow my hand ..." Abby moves her hand back and forth and Susan's eyes try to follow and she ends up going crosseyed.
"Oh that makes me feel queer ..can you stop it..?"
Abby grabs the flashlight out of her bedside draw and shines it on Susan's pupils..."Both equal and reactive..."
Susan pushes Abby's hand away .".AAAAAAARe you kidding me ..that light is bright..go away...I am fine..now how about a game of spin the bottle..?"
Abby helps her to stand up .
"Wow ...I can see stars and little green men flying around my head like a mobile...it's so cool"
Abby rolls her eyes and starts to worry..
"I think I am going to call Luka..."
Susan claps and starts chanting..."Yes let's call your BOYFRIEND ..because you love him and you want to marry him
and have his babies .."
Abby grabs Susan by the hand and drags her out to the kitchen and hands her a coffee.
'Here drink this while I phone Luka and ...keep quiet.."
Susan takes the cup and puts her finger to her lips
"Shhhhhhhhhhh....quiet..."
Abby dials Luka's number.
"Hello.."
"Hi ..Luka it's Abby..I know it's late..but I need your help!"
"Is everything okay..?"
"Susan is a bit drunk...and she hit her head and knocked herself out and It's kind of hard to tell if she is altered or just drunk."
"Why don't you take her to County?"
"Luka...it's Susan and she is drunk..I don't want her to go in there and be embarrassed if she is fine...couldn't you just come over and babysit with me..?"
Luka finds himself grinning.
"I guess I could...if that's what you want me to do.."
Abby hangs up the phone satisfied that she has called in for reinforcements.
"Okay Susan ..Luka is coming over and you better behave yourself..."
Susan picks up a pillow off the couch and throws it at Abby.
"Oooh lovers ....are you gonna behave yourself or are you going to be naughty.."
Abby shakes her head..."I had forgotten what a horrible drunk you are Susan ...you are like a teenager..no..your worse"
Luka finally arrives and can't hep but blush as he sees Susan on the sofa in her pyjamas.
"I hear you bumped your head.."
Susan nods.."yeah ..but I can't feel a thing.."
Abby hands Luka the flashlight and he shines it in Susan's eyes.
"She seems okay....she is not vomiting ..she hasn't lost conscienceness again...I think she will be okay..."
Abby smiles .."Yeah well..I guess she was only out of it for a second...."
Susan watches Abby and Luka as they discuss her condition.
"You guys are sooo together...I can tell"
Luka looks to Abby for instructions.
"Did you say something to her..?"
Abby slowly nods "Yeah..."
Luka laughs "Of course you did...girl talk and all"
Abby smiles as she feels his hand around her waist pulling her in closer. Susan stands up.
"So ...Luka..does that mean you are staying for our slumber party tonight.."
Luka looks at Susan and gives her a stern look.
"Oh I thought we were having a threesome.."
Abby smacks him on the arm "Luka..don't encourage her.."
Susan giggles and yawns at the same time.
"SO where am I sleeping..?"
Abby points to the sofa..."On the pullout"
Luka looks around
'Where am I sleeping....?"
Abby smiles ...."With me"
Luka kisses Abby on the lips and Susan giggles in the background.
