Thanks to Cinefaythe at TEex
"I thought I'd start the thread for Storm with a bit of information for "Age of Innocence," which is likely 15-7. Even the limited pages we have gave me the chills."
The focus is on Meredith, a chatty 8-year-old who needs a blood test to see if she has taken too many Tylenol tablets. Two beds down from her is Henry, a patient of Brenner's. Henry sees Meredith is scared when Sam comes to draw her blood. So he approaches her bedside and starts a warm conversation to distract her. Meredith grasps his hand when Sam sticks her, just as Brenner and someone named "Richie" approach. They react strongly: Brenner orders Henry back, and Richie slugs Henry.
Much later, Brenner is alone with Morris and reveals a painful childhood memory. His inattentive, party-girl mother had a male friend who would visit Brenner in his room. Brenner tells how the man systematically took advantage of him by being attentive, pretending to share his interests, and ultimately creating a secret "friendship." In shots timed to Brenner's story, we see Meredith wander back to Henry, who is attentive, pretends to share her interests, and ultimately proposes that they be "special friends" and that "no one has to know."
I knew Brenner had to be haunted...

Oh dear... Makes you wonder why he is persistent with his "advances" to other women... Early life experience has reflected on him later on... It happens... like when a child grow up watching his father beat mother up, that boy would have a high chance doing the same in later life, its a known fact... But not ALL before you start jumping at me...

Maybe the triangle will be Neela - RAY - Brenner. (Somehow I fell so politicaly incorrect right now)
Frankly, this is a hard/serious subject. But - the problem to me is the fact that Brenner had a terrible start. If they are trying to manipulate me giving him a traumatized childhood - it´s not working.

From Stormwatcher77
"Gates is hunting for the vet, Max. He finds Max's duffle bag but it had been stolen by someone else.
Neela is disappointed while talking to someone on the phone. I suspect it is Ray. He, or someone, has met another girl at the gym and is going to Thanksgiving with her in Georgia. Then, Neela is served with a summons for a malpractice suit when her surgical resident, Andrew, confessed his mistake to a patient's family.
Brenner is dating a woman who is working on her dissertation and Neela teases him a bit about that. Neela tells Brenner she is not dating anyone.
Morris needs to pay a storage bill where he has stored his father's stuff and is reluctant to pay the bill.
Henry, described by Cinefaythe above, is married to Beth who was injured in a house fire. Before Beth is sedated, she asks Henry why people won't leave them alone, and Henry vows that they will stay in their home. Beth's brother, Ritchie, shows up and knows exactly why Beth and Henry have been harassed. Brenner nearly accuses Henry of ignoring Beth in order to be near Meredith, and Ritchie attacks Henry. But Henry denies the allegations that he molested a young girl. Still, later, as Cinefaythe described, Brenner tells Morris while we see Henry make friends with "

Ah.....so someone sets the house of a registered sex offender on fire?? This story line makes me even more leery. We have three in our neighborhood and I have a 13 year old who runs with a bicycle gang of preteens and younger....all day long. Don't think it's going to be doing the 'educating' that I originally thought. More like adding fuel to the fire....... Sigh.
Have the spoilers slowed or something??? Seems like forever since we have gotten anything new......or is it just me?
