Err, She has an excuse: she was drunk! ...gosh, the woman didn't even know how she ended up in his apartment! I think Kipplins posts explain her behavior...come on! She is an alcoholic, plus she didn't cheat Luka. She slept with a man while drunk; she didn't build an entire relationship behind her husbands back; now THAT would be cheating. from my friend, wikipedia : "Fragmentary blackouts are characterized by the ability to recall certain events from an intoxicated period, yet be unaware that other memories are missing until reminded of the existence of these 'gaps' in memory. I'm sat here crying. I couldn't wait 4 the episode to download to watched it on youtube and I can't believe that happened, Luka is gonna be so hurt and abby obviously hates herself for it, I was hoping all the way to the last scene with her and moretti that she maybe falls asleep after they kiss and undress but no they had to show us a clip of them at it, something we've never seen with luby. and i KEEP THINKING IF LUKA HAD BEEN THERE WE WOULD OF HAD THAT SCENE BUT WITH LUKA!!!!!! which would be much sexier and i would be able to re watch it when in fact i know this episode is one that will only get watched the once, thank god for next weeks promo and least it brings a little hope bck, but why did that have to make her cheat i'd rather she of caused her or joe to get injured with her drinking but not this, luby's been through too much why this as well?  |

I'm holding out that things are not as they seem ... I know I don't make any sense, but IMO, I really don't think that Zabel would allow the character to have consensual sex w/ her boss. Moretti didn't seem as though he was under the influence, so I'm hoping that Abby's flashbacks were not the actual events that occurred. Let's just keep wishing ...

You know how there is some ER episodes that you can watch over and over ie: Bloodline and I don't are one of my favorites. We'll Blackout is one that I care never to watch again. Never -ever - ever

I think Abby seemed really ashamed in the last scene , so unfortunately I think the flashbacks are probably true although maybe her mind is wondering to what might have happened to get her to the position she woke up in. I hope so. I think she will admit what she thinks happened to Luka and to the rest of the ER gang that's she's an alcoholic. I don't think any of the current group are aware of that - Are they ?
Next week's promo looked great the look of relief and love on Abby's face when she see's Luka is so sweet. I really hope this ends well for them.

The whole episode makes me sick . ;D How could they make Abby's character faling so low , so irresposible .  For a moment I thought I wasn't even watching ER . For no moment I cried , my anger is bigger .I couldn't believe what I saw. The whole storyline makes me mad , ..... very mad !!!!!  - MURIEL- |

Well I dont have enough time to read previous comments now, so I will probably repeat something.
This episode was emotionally great! It kept me in tension for all 50 (or how many) minutes. I felt really bad from the begining, because of the first scene. I guessed right that she was going to Croatia to see Luka, but I didnt know, why was she crying.
The first shock came when she was totally drunk in the bar, (btw, Maura did a great job) she reminded me Maggie in that scene... I felt really bad.. (and in that time I wanted somebody to come and get her out of there)
All that Moretti thing... She was completely drunk... When are people drunk, they do sometimes bad things like this. Me either. I can understand it. I know exactly how she felt, when she remembered the making out scene. And going away to Croatia is the best thing she could do. Really.
If she loves Luka, and I am sure she does, she should re-think her drinking situation.
I liked Chuny talking about Doug and Mark.
Hawk... and sorry for my English, I cant focus on grammar after this episode...

RORY,I'm SORRY, she had sex with another man, and of course she participated, if you see what I mean. ( and trust me, I don't want to crack any stupid joke!  ) Of course, she isn't riding in the sunset with HAIRY MORETTI, but what she did will be unbearable for LUKA.REMEMBER how INCREDIBLE THEIR CHEMISTRY AND THEIR BODY LANGUAGE were, even when they were NOT together. ( Remember the CARTER year, you see the difference immediately!  ) That's where LUKA will be THE MOST VULNERABLE, because the only thing he does FEEL like any normal man, is HOW magnetically women have always been attracted to him in the E.We know for sure that Abby had sex with Moretti ( ghastly flashbacks! ) ....and this is the worst thing she could do to him. There will be images in Luka's mind ( Abby having sex with Moretti!) which will be so painful, that I can't believe for a second they'll easily achieve any harmony before long. So, because ABBY is basically honest and LUKA is the man of her life, she will be unable to lie to him. IT WILL TAKE A LOT OF TIME TO FORGIVE AND MOST OF ALL, TO FORGET.

Just because you and me, don't have the same interpretation about them.
I don't want LUKA to feel guilty for anything...
But even though I hated how TPTB showed Abby's behaviour in this epi, I really hope they'll find a strong stotyline to help them overcome all their issues at any level .
It's very simple, CARITO:
I'm really sad and devastated, but I have ALWAYS THOUGHT that ABBY and LUKA were meant to be.
You see how different we are!
And just one more thing:
Abby has never slept around, NEVER.
She never cheated on LUKA (season 7), CARTER (season 9) , MYSTERIOUS MOTORGUY ( season 10 ) , or the nice JAKE (season 11 ) .
ABBY is a MONOGAMIST, or if you want to be nit-picking, she was until BLACKOUT.
