She never cheated on LUKA (season 7),
But she was comfortable enough fooling around with Luka on Luka"s face and for god sake she wanted to do something more than to fool with him until Luka kick her ass in TLYS with the only true at that moment NOW YOU CAN GO WITH CARTER
I'm really sad and devastated, but I have ALWAYS THOUGHT that ABBY and LUKA were meant to be.
They might have been at the begining, but in some part of the story they took too differents ways to be it right now.

Well define cheating. She didn't sleep with Carter or even come close to it.
Again - why are you here? You don't like this relationship or want to see it succeed. WRONG PLACE FOR YOU.
I have no poblem at all with anyone who doesn't like the way the story has gone or who thinks that it may not be rectified; but you don't want it to be rectified and that's the difference. You are out of place.

Err, She has an excuse: she was drunk! ...gosh, the woman didn't even know how she ended up in his apartment! I think Kipplins posts explain her behavior...come on! She is an alcoholic, plus she didn't cheat Luka. She slept with a man while drunk; she didn't build an entire relationship behind her husbands back; now THAT would be cheating. ; Now I 'm shocked about what you're writing . Rory , honey I love you ,  but this !!!!! Even if you're drunk , sick , ...no matter what ? you slept with a man , you cheated . How can you say that Abby didn't cheat on Luka , because she was drunk !!! That goes over my head !! - MURIEL- Love ya too Mumu, Zelz! . But Rory stands for what she said. Abby DIDN'T CHEAT Luka. Look for the term "Cheat"; Cheating is something you do deliberately; is when you trick, you lie and deceive with malevolecy. This isn't Abby's case (sleeping with Moretti wasn't something she planned for days to deliberately step on Luka) she was under the influence of a legal substance: Alcohol, which as we all know one of it's effects after taken in a high doses are: impairing the judgment; you can't tell if what you're doing is good or bad. She had a blackout! She slept with Moretti under the effects of alcohol BUT she never cheated on Luka. Nope. Carito, hun, you know this isn't the right place to criticise Luka and Abby's relationship; remember? If you don't like the couple then again, what are you doing here? Do we have to repeat you again and again to refrain yourself? |

YES , but i just could not help to read spoilers , yours rewiew and saw some clips of this episode , specially the last flashback.
Last night was the premier here in latinamerica and i did not see it and i will not see it.

I somewhat agree with Rory. I still think what Abby did counts as cheating, but I definitely don't believe that she did this deliberately or to get back at Luka. I think she was way too drunk to make a conscious decision like that. That's one of the reasons I'm so angry with Moretti. He is such a pathetic loser for taking advantage of her like that. Not that I'm excusing Abby 'cause this is mostly her fault.

Does anybody else want to hope that Abby's flash back were her thoughts of what MAY have happened ?? Wishful thinking. I was definitely thinking that...Hopefully she is just feeling guilty and that is what she thought she remembered. Maybe Moretti saw that she needed help, but to me...this seems to surreal... I think we have to get used to the fact that it DID happen and they WILL get through it! |

I'm probably one of the last persons who actually watched the eppy and it's commenting.
Well, I've just finished watching the episode and what I feel right now can't be described with words especially in English because it's my second language. But I really feel EMPTY, my whole soul has been taken by Maura Tierney.
I know most of the members of this group or any other I belong to are more ER fans than one actor's fan, but in my personal case the order is the following:
1st - I'm a HUGE Maura fan.
Because of this, that woman called Maura Tierney just blew my mind and soul with an extraordinary performance full of feelings and anguish, that I'm picking up the peaces of my heart right now, because I almost hyperventilate with her performance. America should be hugely proud of having her as one of the finest, classy and incredible actresses in her rows. If I was grieving for ER last season, her performance just made me want MORE and MORE of her acting, so if NBC agrees to make ER run another season I'll do a party in its honor, at least I'm gonna ask some Peruvian ER Fans to join me and celebrate if that happen.
2nd - I'm a LUBY fan
This part of me is aching in a way I haven't experimented before. I knew happy LUBY couldn't stay that way all S14 because factors like Goran's availability and category of the show (ER it's a drama), but to make Abby cheat on Luka, IMO was too much, I would have prefered a kiss between Abby and Moretti than the nasty, gross and completely ugly scene of the flashback, looking to Tucci's chest was nauseous; at least the new intern (Grady) was way better than him and has a crush on Abby. I'm really sad she cheated on Luka, I know he left for a understandable reason, I know he took too much time and Abby wasn't supposed to do all the job alone, but it can be done, I do it everyday and sometimes its harder but that's why a mom thinks better.
3rd - I'm an ER fan
As an ER fan, I think this episode brought back the emotion and excitement that watching "21 Guns", "Bloodline· and "Graduation Day" in a row gave me some time ago, my back is killing me because the anguish and emotion and I only experimented that when I saw the 3 episodes I mentioned before. IMO this episode catapults ER in another level, a level that no-one could have imagined and I truly hope TPTB agrees to have a 15th season but only if my dear Maura Tierney stays, because no matter what other people might think, FOR ME MAURA TIERNEY IS THE HEART AND SOUL OF THE SHOW!
Aditional comment:
After this episode I hope some people who actually feel the need to compare ER with shows like Grey's Anatomy and House, stops doing that, ER is ubicated in another superior level than those, ER has not any other show to compare with, ER is unique, and people at the Academy (EMMY) and the Hollywood Foreign Press (GOLDEN GLOBE) should pay more attention to that fact and stop bashing the show we all love ans starts giving the recognition to the cast and crew of that superior show called ER!

I actually got that question from Shawna, she also thought maybe that didnt happen, maybe its just abby thinking what could have happened, but she woke up and her clothes were on the floor, so it definitly happened. and i agree with Rory, cheatingis when you know it will happen and you are not drunk ... like uhh, gabrielle and carlos in desperate housewives season4, thats cheating ... And Carito, please go and get a life you are just ridicilous, people only laugh at you. |

Well yes its obvious they did "it" but those flashbacks can be something abby just imagined what could have happened it doesnt have to be like that... but they did "it" for sure, but i dont trust the flashbacks maybe it didnt happen like that.... i think the writers hit their head somewere.  |

Honestly, I don't think it matters; if they didn't do it it was almost certainly not because Abby called a halt. She may have passed out, but the fact is that she ended up naked in another mans bed because she was off her face and not making rational decisions. It's not the sex that is the issue, it's the drinking. |

I saw the epi a second time, just to be even more masochistic...and noticed that MORETTI in the "kinda bar" (dunno the right word) , was quite cool, and thinking he had spent a lovely night.  Did I hear right ? ..DID HE CALL ABBY: HONEY ?  Tell me my english sucks and I'm being grandiloquent as usual.  |
