Wow...Mekhi packs a powerful punch as an actor! Overall the best parts of the show were his interactions with little kids (the kid in the truck - 'Rambro?' and the little one that grabbed his hand at the very end....a heart tugger) I was expecting much more from Noah. His attempt to emphatize with the mother losing her child was actually laughable. I MISSED MY LUBY MOMENTS!!!! I wish they had of added just one little snippet to bring the action back to Chicago. Even a shot of Luka reading an email from them would have done my old heart some good....and helped me get through this next week.....sigh. It will be interesting to see what kind of interaction there will be between Luka and Pratt when he returns.

I really don't have much to say about this episode. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I liked the story and I really like Debbie, that girl's got spunk. Still, it was boring compared to the normal Chicago episodes, IMHO. I understand the message John Wells is sending, but I'd rather keep politics/news on CNN and not on ER. (Speaking of which, Darfur is in the news a lot today.)
I'm not a fan of Carter or Pratt so I really didn't care too much about them. Pratt was definitely more entertaining than Carter.. he did do a good job. Personally I enjoyed seeing him get taken down a notch. I hate his "hot shot" cocky attitude. I hope this changes his character for the better.
As for Carter.. *yawn* All I have to say is he needs to grow back his hair.

I have almost nothing to say about this ep because I got so bored half way through I switched it off!! It wasn't only because there was no Luby, in fact it had nothing to do with that. I just don't get the point of all this Darfur stuff, AGAIN!! We did it already and why so many eps this season?? And this one was ALL Darfur, no ER at all

I actually liked the episode. I was waiting for some dull Africa moments but it turns out I really enjoying it. I liked the story about the baby and then also the whole Dr. Dakarai missing. I guess my expectations were low so I wasn't disappointed when the outcome was better. And then I think it was a way to get to know Pratt a little bit more, let's just hope once he is back he keeps his feet on the ground!
Anyway, I'm looking forward for some ER back in Chicago :'(and with some Luby moments!!! I missed them this week!!

You all seriously need to head over to Cranky's recap of this episode. You will love the "deleted scene".

Yeah! And they better be good. Though I have a question, not sure where to ask about it...
Pratt was in Africa for a month, does this mean that next episode it's supposed to take place in June?? I'm lost now.
