As I understand it that isn't the final scene (I was going to say shot!) of the episode.

It's not the final scene, just the last scene we have for Abby. It's quite brief with her coming in, getting a coffee mug, sitting down with her coat on, putting on the TV, taking the bottlefrom a bag, pouring the mug of vodka and drinking from it. It's fairly near the end, but there may well be another with her.

I'm thinking that Luka/Abby conversation had to do with them spending time alone. Abby blaming Niko's presence and Luka deciding to get rid of him. Abby is so guilty and remorseful about not knowing what happened w/ Moretti that she's afraid to be alone w/ Luka and hides w/ the bottle at Neela's. What I believe may happen is alcohol poisoning and Neela or Luka finding her and attempting to save her life. IMO, that may actually be Abby and Luka's wake up call to the disease and perhaps lead to the resolution.

None of what would have happened? It's already happened. She's already been hitting the booze for several episodes by now. Is Luka not supposed to have his family there so she'd be free to drink at home undetected? Luka is not responsible for her drinking. Full stop.

Not Abby drinking, i know thats been going on in many episodes now, i mean Luby arguing in the ambulance bay and Abby going to her apartment.

But one could equally say that none of it would have happened if Abby had been a grown up and given Luka a straight answer as to what was bugging her instead of throwing him "looks" and sulking. She's in full blown defensive mode and I honestly think this is more about Niko being in the way of her drinking than anything else, hence her deceit in going to her old apartment. Luka's getting rid of Niko; let's see how Abby responds. My feeling is that she won't be all "God, it's great to be able to spend time alone so we can really talk".

Of course not she's in full blown relapse and full of shame, guilt and fear. I think we are going to be given details as we see the eps air that explain more fully what both of their motivations are. But i do think Luka was wrong to spring Niko on Abby under any circumstances if that is what he did. I'm with you lubylove2. I think someone is going to find Abby at the end of this ep, and the next ep is where it begins to get dealt with. This is just too dark for tptb to drag on any further. She's got to hit bottom, and sitting alone, drinking mug fulls of vodka when her husband has to notice she either doesn't come home, or comes home not herself, seems like it has to be it to me, or Luka's stupidity and inability to get a clue will defy logic. I think up to now I could believe she was being sneaky enough, and he was preoccupied with his brother, but now?

I don't think she will be pleased also...
Even more if her last scene in this epsiode will be with a bottle in her old apartment... now, like I said on the last page... it will be beither Neela or Luka, but for me will be Neela who is going to find her...

I think this will be her rock bottom and the point when Luka is confronted with the stark reality of her addiction. Although she appears to have made some serious errors at work in the previous episodes, so we have seen that her work is affected it looks as if she will (physically) harm herself rather than killing a patient or endangering Joe again which is what I feared would happen as the rock bottom event.

I think it makes much more sense to their storyline for it to be about her hurting herself.

Wrt Luka and Abby in the ambulance bay - it is not completely clear from the sides that this is even an argument. Yes, it can certainly be interpreted that way, but it's not a full-blown screaming match, and we don't even know what exactly Abby's issue is. Just saying.

As I understand it that isn't the final scene (I was going to say shot!) of the episode. LOL I was about to ask for a Tequila Shot! hahahahah. Hope I understood well your phrase between the parenthesis, if not, I apologize.

Yes, you understood perfectly.
I'd rather Abby hurt herself than a patient to be honest; don;t want to see anyone else dragged into the whole sorry mess.

I respectfully disagree that 3 would be the average age to stop breast feeding. Most children today are drinking out of cups starting at about 12-15 months old.
Regarding alcohol poisoning, it could most definitely happen given the spoilers we have. Someone of her size consuming a mass quantity of vodka can certainly put their lives in jeopardy, even in one sitting. I recall some trouble reviving Pratt's brother when he was brought into the ER unconscience from like 6-8 shots of tequila.
