However, the romantic subplot between Monix and an ex-girlfriend (Maura Tierney, "Liar Liar," TV's "ER") feels forced and only distracts from the comedic aspects of the film.If the subplot was just 'tacked on', one has to wonder if someone - the writer? director? Woody? - just wanted a chance to work with Maura? Or maybe more of their subplot ended up on the cutting room floor? I am betting on the first. Can't wait to see it myself. And NOT for the Ferrill stupidity.

Maura is absolutely stunning! I can't wait to see the movie, but I would have to ask someone over 18 to take me

hmm is it possible for you to buy the tickets online in order to get in? I don't really know much about sneaking in so yeah. I'm watching Reel Comedy on Comedy Central right now, they're interviewing the cast of Semi-Pro (No Maura, just the guys), and when the interviewer was asking everybody who the best basketball player was, Will Arnett jokingly said Maura Tierney. I thought it was cute, the interviewer was all like woahh really?! Anyways, I just found out I'll have to go back home Friday to vote (they wont let me vote where I live at the moment), and yeah, I need to figure out a way to see this movie before I go. There's no way I'm taking my family to see it.

I can't go on Friday (the Young Dems of America convention is being held that night) so I'm going to the midnight showing, most likely.
Andre Benjamin is a very decent player. Will sucks and can't even make a granny shot.

I could possibly ask my dad to watch it since he's such a basketball fan Lol.

lol I'd freak if I took my dad to see it; my family is weird.
They mostly said Woody was the best at it.

Rats....I was hoping to see it this week but will more likely have to wait a week till Tuesday. I am going while the kiddos are in school and hubby is at work. I have been threatening to go see my 'chick flicks' during the day when I am off....my protest about being dragged too often to the kiddie flicks. Never thought my first 'protest stance' would be Semi-Pro. Sigh.....

Blonde to brunette in a matter of seconds...love it. *sigh* Jenanis...she said that New Line (cinemas) had to pay $46 for two pots of coffee. The things people do for caffeine. Though I shouldn't be talking...I once danced for a diet coke.

Thank you very much Maggie. Seriously, it is totally crazy ! $23 for a coffee ! I hope that was a "coffee emergency" or like you said: "caffeine" ! P.S: Next time, bring your own coffee !
