Tanuki, about your spoiler question - a friend of mine who saw it on Broadway several times said it looks so real when that happens. Maybe they do it the way they did on ER, LOL.

She looks absolutely beautiful in that one, thank you. However, I don't like when they style her hair like that. It's too "roundish." I like when she does it herself, and it's parted and more natural. She looked good at the festival and the other things, but when hair and makeup people get to her, they do tooo much! she has straightened her hair, you can see that 100%. it's way more curly when it's natural. i actually like it better when it's curly but this is also beautiful, of course!

I'm also wondering if the producers wanted her to have more of a "mom" hairdo. To me the hair she has in the picture screams "mom hairdo". I don't think it's that sophisticated of a hair style. And as Rike pointed out, her hair is curlier when it's in it's natural state. I think she's always had a bit of a curl to it and chemo just intensified the curl.

Good morning guys! As you might have noticed, we now have a God of Carnage sub-board (thanks to our Admin!) like we did/do for North Atlantic. So that should make it easier for us to keep all the GOC info organized in one place and we can start new threads as needed, for stories about seeing the play or meeting Maura or whatever else might come up.
If you've got any questions, feel free to PM me or Allie or the Admin.

It might have been told already in one of the many articles that have been posted and then, I probably overlooked it but, do we know already which part Maura will play?

I don't think any of the articles have actually said, but she'll be playing Annette. I bought a copy of the play to read and the descriptions of Annette and Alan fit perfectly with the way Maura and the guy playing her husband are dressed in those cast pics.

yep, I thought so too... yikes... but well, I must admit Lucy is not such a bad actress... ^^ I'm looking forward to reading the script too! All those videos we've seen lately make me a little afraid of Irish English, so I want to make sure I won't miss anything important ^^

Is anyone going to opening night next week? From The Gate's Facebook page:
Share a drink with the cast and creatives of 'God of Carnage' on its opening night next Tuesday 8th February.

Ohhhh I wish I could go yes.... And we could sing for her LOLLL I hope they'll do some ending-party-stuff or ANYTHING She looks absolutely beautiful in that one, thank you. However, I don't like when they style her hair like that. It's too "roundish." I like when she does it herself, and it's parted and more natural. She looked good at the festival and the other things, but when hair and makeup people get to her, they do tooo much! That's exactly what I thought too! And I have to admit, I really don't like this look, it's seriously not one of my favourite photo's ...sorry gals hihi I loooove curls! And about that chemo; ... I think she's always had a bit of a curl to it and chemo just intensified the curl. I haven't had chemo but I have curly hair too now, and when I was little my hair was straight as ....... It has changed in the past 3 to 5 years or sth now, it's weird! My friend who's a hairdresser said, what did you do, it can't change so sudden..! She thought i was lying about not doing anything with it LOL I would love to see Maura with something like this ghehehe, omg i would faint if it was: Ok, I'm going too far I know...... ;D
