Thought it was one of the best premiers I have ever seen. I started crying when the doctor was telling everybody and Chaz that Pratt had no brain function, and Chaz asked him to keep him hooked up for the four hours. The tears flowed harder when Pratt was declared legally brain dead, and Chaz didn't want to expect the fact his brother was gone. I totally lost it when Chaz and Haleah were helping push his gurney to the elevator, and Frank goes over and pushes the button on the elevator. My husband was totally silent, when Pratt died. My husband may not cry, but he shows his emotions in other ways. Some more Karma coming to Christabell.

Just finished watching the episode after a hectic day at work... Well I couldn't stop crying, I started to cry when he was hemorrhaging from his throat/neck and his tears were rolling down... So sad, I haven't cried so much at ER since Mark died... Yes there was a little error that Chaz said that Pratt been there 8 years which was actually 6 years as Pratt came along 2002... That was weird why the girl laughed (She got a condition?) though Abby did limp a few times after her trip... Frank... Bless him, he really admired Pratt... at the lift and he turned away from the others at the wake drowning in his sorrows... He seem to be the only staff member who cried... What I do find annoying just like when Mark died that some of the Characters were not at the funeral.. Pratt didn't even get a funeral scene (Michael Gallant got one) nor any of the previous characters present even Luka could have attended.... Carter and Weaver only got mention because of the condolence gifts, they could have come over... Thank you thank you so much Christabel for sharing!

Have been watching a second time and the emotion is still so strong!
Loved that ALL THE PEOPLE who had known PRATT wanted to show how much they cared for him.
WEAVER who sent flowers from Florida, and CARTER with this african banner which says that a soul never dies.
Loved to see that ALL THE NURSES ( who are walking figures most of the time and that we barely see ) were there for PRATT:
CHUNY- HALEH-MALIK.
And MORRIS 's scene with BETTINA when he gives her the ring PRATT had bought for her, and which showed how much the cocky intern had changed and was ready for commitment, made me cry all along.
MORRIS totally stole that scene.
The BITTEREST IRONY was that ANSPAUGH was ready to give the job of ER CHIEF to PRATT.
I am ready to watch ABBY choose her destiny in the next epi...............but here, everytime I am watching FRANK's face, I want to cry.
He looked so lonely and sad when they were all drinking at IKES's after the funeral.
His face is pure raw sorrow.
And I could go on and on ..............

Okay, the last time I cried this hard for ER was at the end of last season for the reunion and now I'm already crying again but this time they aren't tears of joy, but tears of sorrow. I haven't felt so genuinely said in a really long time. It was such a sad episode to start off with, but it was really well done. In particular, I enjoyed watching everyone hovering around Pratt and never really leaving his side. Frank really touched me in the episode as well. He looked so sad-they really had a unique relationship. The way Pratt died was so terrible. First they think he's okay, and then all of a sudden something else happens and he dies. I wish we got to see the funeral, but I'm glad they remembered him at Ike's. Too bad there was no Luka.
We only have a couple of episodes left with Abby too...ugh. This is the beginning of the end of ER. So sad. I can't believe it. I really can't.

Wow.... I was really sad last night seeing Pratt. I cried so much when he was crying and when he was pushed to the OR. I really loved Mekhi's character and I think I prob cried too because I love Mekhi a lot as an actor.
One thing that disappointment me though was that no one really cried except maybe for Frank and of course Bettina. Not even Abby who had a strong friendship with him. Yes, they were all truly touched, but it just seemed unnatural to not have any tears. And extremely unnatural to not have Luka check on his beloved wife to see if she's okay..... at least mention it in a phone call.... jjeeezzzz. C'mon TPTB....THINK !!!!

I thought that about Luka, not even a phone call to see if she was OK, especially when the explosion happened not long after they made up. But i agree with Zelda, that i didn't miss Luka and Abby so much in this episode. Maybe the rest of the episodes won't seem so bad!

oh i totally forgot to say that I MISS WEAVER SO MUCH! ER isn't the same without her, I just felt the urge to watch an episode from early s13 only to see her, i miss her like a friend I don't know why.
there was alot i was planning to say in my earlier post that i forgot, but i write them down as they come.
I felt really bad for Bettina, she looked like a mess.
There was lots of stuff I had forgotten about ER, so when I watched todays episode I was like whatta hell?! when did that happen. Like Tony& Sam getting together, that new brittish surgeon. I had forgotten about Bettina, I had forgotten about Maura being brunette again.
I still can't believe PRATT is dead, I mean, IT'S PRATT FOR GODS SAKE! He can't be dead. It feels like I've lost a real person. As I've avoided spoilers, promos & all that it really came as a shock for me, I had no idea what was gonna happen, I didn't even know the name of the episodes, hadn't read any summary. it just came like a big freaking surprise to me. i thought it was going to be sam or abby, what would be even worse but i wasn't prepared for pratt.

Oh yea... I loved too how Haleh, Chuny, and Malik were touched about Pratt, that was really nice to see, as was the elevaor scene when everyone in the ER was silent and looking on at Pratt as they were taking him up. I liked the references made about Gallant (another character I dearly miss because he was just so sweet), Carter, Weaver, and Luka. Maybe they should have thrown in Chen since she and Pratt used to go out. AAYYYYY, I can't even think about it anymore....

ooooo.... one question.... maybe I don't get it or missed something... but why was Neela upset at Brenner after they slept together??? I liked though that even he was touched by Pratt's passing.

My mum usually waits until ER comes on here to watch it but she phoned from work today and she said "Are you sniffing" and i was like "I just cried through ER!" So when she came home she couldnt help herself and watched it, when she came back downstairs she looked a mess. I still cant believe that Pratt is actually dead though. Its going to be so weird without him now.

As I posted earlier, it was so sad, but I didn't cry... I think I am saving it for when Abby leaves or when we get to see Luka (tears of joy)! Anyway as I was discussing the episode with a friend of mine, we toughed that the broken arm could also have a symbolic function. Throughout the episode we see close ups from her arm with a very clear view at her wedding ring. Maybe it is a way of saying that her marriage is healing and on the way back to being good again! There are not only Carby signs in the episodes

Well Abby wasn't wearing the wedding ring when Haleh put the plaster cast on her arm but I found it odd that Abby managed to put her ring back on that finger??? That is NOT possible, if you break your arm/wrist your hand/arm would be swollen for a few days...
