Where is everyone come up people ER's back and we have to make the most of these first few episodes Who was in the explosion Abby, Sam and Pratt......... I have a feeling Luka's presence in this episode will be non existent. However, here is what i think. Am gathering that Abby will have some sort of injury from the explosion and if my wife had been involved in a incident like that, would you not be straight there to see if they were OK?? [/youtube]

Very good episode! Touching and intense! I loved how they gathered to grieve Prat's death together! I thought it felt very real that Abby couldn't focus on the little girl because she was distressed with what was happening with Pratt! Of course I wish Luka had been there, but I was so sad that Pratt was leaving that it didn't feel so bad! The promo for the next weeks really got to me! "A doctor that means so much for so many is leaving" or somenthing like that! It was so sad!!
But I was glad that this was a goog episode! Greg and Mekhi deserved it!

Man oh man, I cried like a baby during this one, and I haven't done that since Mark died . What a wonderful tribute to Greg/Mekhi... It was a very touching and well thought out eppy - a great start to the final (*cries*) season. Sad to think though, that this is Abby's 2nd to last eppy... . I loved the little mention of Luka - a little way of letting us know that things are starting to work out for our favorite couple! Anyone want to hazard a guess as to if we'll see Luka again? I have a feeling we won't, we'll just have little mentions of him to go by. I have to say though, it is EXTREMELY ironic that Abby breaks her left arm, and just a few months later Maura does the same

OMG... that was sad... It was worth setting my alarm at 6 am and being late at my job because I couldn't stop watching.... especially because I was hoping we would see Luka stopping by... well you can't have everything! But I was glad Abby mentioned him and that he was at the funeral... btw, does anyone have the promo for the next couple of episodes that they showed last night? Torrent doesn't cover the promos TVguide blog ER 15.01: community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TV-Show-Blog/Er/Episode-Recap-Life/800047501

OMG, i haven't cried this much since Dr greene died and bloodline. I didn't think Pratt would effect me this way but he did. The way the ER came together for him, reminded me way i've always loved this show. But am glad that Brenner was out of the picture for the group scenes, his presence would not have been welcomed. I was kinda hoping for Luka to make an appearance but like izzy said we can't have it all. Think am slowly getting used to his character not being around. I said slowly!! Well i least they talked about Luka being at the funeral, i was concerned they would pass that by. Talking about Weaver and Carter was a nice touch too. All in all this episode was beautifully done and one of the best season openers i've seen. Not many episode since season 13 or that haven't centred around Luby, can i say that i will watch again. Is there hope for the rest of the season.....

We must have seen a different episode. Mekhi was wonderful....especially when he began to realize that things were going downhill for him. The scene between Morris and Bettina was wrenching when he gave her the ring that was in Greg's pocket. Scott Grimes rocked it again. Other than that I was disappointed. I am going to have to rewatch it because I felt like the emotional connections were missing. I KNOW they were working on Pratt - and other patients as well - but I just didn't see the emotion. I espected so much more than mere distraction from Abby. I was trying to figure out what they were trying to register?? Shock, maybe. It didn't come across to me....except from Troy Evans (Frank) who always had such an interesting relationship with Pratt. Pratt's 'walk down the hall' scene was touching because it gave us Haleh, Chuny and Malik. THEY had the looks and emotion I was expecting from the rest. I would have liked a little more memory stuff too, I guess. I will miss Pratt. Didn't think I could ever have said that about that cocky little rooster that first walked through those ER doors.

Well i had a horrible morning, and thought i would never see that episode. My laptop isn't working but thank God for my dads.
I cried so much during that episode! I thought it was really emotional. Gah i cant actually believe how much i cried! Every time i stopped something else came along and i started again! I haven't cried this much since ermm since i watched the movie Silkwood.
Anyway i really enjoyed it, a good, though very sad start to the season. There is hope for ER yet.
