Just to let everone on here know, I am writing an article for my ISN job about Major league baseball supporting standup2cancer and I'm using a baseball analogy about how I felt about Maura's cancer dosen't care statement. I will post the link when it hits the website.

My article is posted to theisn.net. here is the link. It's just a quick mention of Maura, it's about Major League Baseball joining standup2cancer. www.theisn.net/MLBCancer.html

I just love seeing Maura and Sally together - I think it is so crazy that they were once mother and daughter. Love it. Maura looks fantastic - so happy and carefree. It makes me feel so good - seeing her interact with all of these celebs and friends. Good for her.

Wow thanks for the videos and pics everyone!! I was going crazy last night, didn't have access to TV or Internet!! But I knew I could count on you all to fill me in! Was there anymore video of Maura, or was it just the statement at the beginning? That was a powerful statement, by the way...I watched it about 12 times and it still makes me shiver. She is so incredible!

Hey Nicole! Other than the shots of her answering the phones, the statement at the beginning was it. She certainly used her moment to make an impact.

Thanks for the info Tara!! ;D I think her little blurb was the best, most moving one. Everyone else's was true, but not as poignant.

Most were whimsical or funny references to their careers like that guy from Survivor and Kathy Bates others were generic references about life. I'm sure Maura's would have been something about playing a doctor on TV if her father had not died from the disease.

I wondered if the others had their little blurbs written for them, while Maura chose to go a different route and speak from her heart. Can we trademark the phrase "She's amazing"? LOL I feel like we say it all the time, but it's always true.

I just watched the entire SU2C show. I hadn't seen it yet.. Maura's statement went to the bone...... How hard must it be to do what she did?! I hope people have learnt from it and think twice before they're gonna ask her something about her battle...
