Starting a new thread for this - the episode number isn't completely clear so I hope this is OK. I can't post in my usual place at the moment so I'm posting here...
These are spoilers for Harold, recurring guest (the 19-year-old interny Doogie Howser person), episode unknown possibly 14.5
Harold turns up and meets Neela. She initially thinks he is the son of a patient who had a possible heart attack in theatre and attempts to explain to him what happened. He doesn't have a driving licence which surprises Morris and uses public transport/cycling to get around. Neela calls him 'Dr. Zelinsky'. He has been given some jobs to do (eg changing dressings) and then goes to see Traci, a pregnant woman on whom Neela is doing an ultrasound. Harold makes multiple attempts to diagnose the cause of the fluid collections which can be seen on the scan. He scares the mother by talking about diseases which carry an increased risk of miscarriage.
Later on Harold is on the phone thinking he should switch from the internship. Apparently Neela has been treating him meanly on instructions from her boss. She promises to be more supportive from now on. Later still Neela is quizzing him about why a patient needs a certain procedure when he starts asking about his girlfriend (who is 17 and still in high school)'s homecoming dance - he's a virgin and has some questions about sex. He has taken a plastic model from the gynaecology department so someone can explain things to him...
Gates is talking to Julia the hospital chaplain about how she ended up in her career.
Abby is treating someone with boils.
There's another patient in trauma later on, a 'Crazy Nemo' - Pratt and Abby are talking about Moretti's smugness when Neela walks in, though Pratt admits that despite smugness Moretti is smart.
Pratt's working the night before boards (Morris isn't - he made Pratt do his shift!), so tells Abby she will have to take all the difficult cases. He asks what Abby's heard from Luka.[/spoiler]

Is this 14.05 do you think? It looks that way based on the new spoilers. There aren't any scenes from different eps as far as I can tell.

hey, girls...
I was surfing on the net and some people( based on the spoilers of 14.05 episode ) think that Abby will be getting back on alcoholism... I think she will have a nervous breakdown ( caused by anxiety and all the other things )... what do you think ?

I think it is VERY possible by the way things are going this season for Abby, but I have to think that it would be VERY VERY cruel for TPTB to do that to her and to Joe and Luka after all they have been through...
I really hope that doesn't happen, but this possible storyline scares the hell out of me!

....and also found these....
<<In the two articles below, there is sort of a producers' wish list of actors they'd like to see make a return appearance, though they are not saying this is the final year. One thing Zabel confirms is multiple episodes by Noah Wyle as Carter in the ER in Chicago.
From a staff writer at the New York Post in its TV Blog (August 21, 2007)
'ER': Emergency Reunion
With a possible series finale looming next spring, "ER" producers appear to be working on the equivalent of Old Timers Day for the long-running drama by luring back as many of the show's alumni as possible this season.
Among those who have been approached are Noah Wyle, Gloria Ruben and Julianna Margulies.
Wyle(left), who left the show at the end of the 2005-2006 season following a string of episodes set in a war-torn African nation, will appear on "ER" this season in a storyline set in the hospital, according to TV Guide. "He'll be in Chicago in the ER, interacting with all our people," executive producer David Zabel says. Carter will be back to check out the Joshua Carter Center, a gift from his billionaire family, and for a mysterious medical concern. Producers are hoping to also bring back Thandie Newton, who plays Carter's wife Kem. The two had split up shortly before Carter's exit, after their baby died.
Margulies -- who grew up locally in suburban, Spring Valley, NY -- made a name for herself playing nurse Carol Hathaway on "ER" but left the show in 2000.
Other potential guest stars include Eriq La Salle (Peter Benton), William H. Macy (David Morgenstern), Sally Field, Danny Glover, Laura Innes (Weaver) and Shane West (Ray).
Producers hoping to land the show's most famous alumni: "We're always thinking of ways to bring Dr. Ross back on the show," says Zabel. "And now might be a good time, because I hear George [Clooney] needs the work."

This is the TV Guide News report referenced by the NY Post in the piece above (dated today also):
ER Invites Old Favorites to Scrub Back In
There's no series finale written and producers and cast aren't yet ready to sign off for good but if, as many predict, ER's County General closes its doors at the end of its upcoming 14th season, the NBC drama wants to lure back as many of its cast as it can.
Noah Wyle (Dr. John Carter), who's popped in and out of the show for a number of years, is returning for multiple episodes, and there will be no running around in Africa this time. "He'll be in Chicago in the ER, interacting with all our people," executive producer David Zabel tells TVGuide.com. The doc is back to check out the Joshua Carter Center, a gift from his big-bucks family, as well as for a medical concern. In turn, ER is hoping to bring back Thandie Newton, who plays Carter's wife Kem.
Zabel says they've also talked to Gloria Reuben (as Jeannie Boulet) and Julianna Margulies (Carol Hathaway) about returns. "Julianna's doing a show now (midseason's Canterbury's Law), but we can always write a story that can shoot in a couple of days," the exec says. Also on their dream list and in the mix of story ideas being discussed: Eriq La Salle (Peter Benton), William H. Macy (David Morgenstern), and Sally Field and Danny Glover, who have had runs as Abby's mom and Pratt's dad. Fans might also expect visits from more recent exiles Laura Innes (Weaver) and Shane West (Ray).
But what about the most successful ER alumni of all? "We're always thinking of ways to bring Dr. Ross back on the show," says Zabel with a laugh. "And now might be a good time, because I hear George [Clooney] needs the work."

This relatively unintelligible (sorry!) bit of news came from Kristen at E!Online from her most recent chat:
Gimlet in Detroit: I need ER news!
According to Parminder Nagra, "I got trampled on at the end of the season, because not very nice things happen to Neela all the time. And it just gets worse, quite frankly, and she begins to recuperate—no, wait, that's the other...Oh, I'm giving too much away.">>

Well, we knew Noah was coming back but I'd love it if Eriq came back. And William. I doubt it will happen though. I can't see Julianna coming back either as she's now pregnant. Would be nice if she and George did come back though. A little reunion.

The first one is factually flawed... Carter and Kem got together before he left, they didn't split up (that was in S10!).
Kristen continues to annoy me!!
I didn't watch much before S7/S8 so the whole old cast members coming back thing is not as big for me as it is for some people. I like the idea of Weaver coming to visit, Ray can keep the Ray fans happy if he shows up, but I'm not too bothered if we never see the rest of the cast again. Considering what JM has said about the show I very much doubt she'd come back anyway!

Kristen continues to annoy me!! Me too quite honestly, however, according to Kristen, Maura Tierney confirmed that Goran Visnjic would make four appearances this season. Based on that info, I wonder if Maura will leave mid-season, as been rumored?

hi! just returned from aeb where they discuss that MT said in an interview recently that GV will appear in only 4 episodes. It is talked about a mid-season departure for luka and abby as well. (The people are talking about this one, no one from the shoe released anything regarding that)
