Just a simple acceptance.... Of what? Just because many people believe in God doesn't make it universal truth, nor does it mean everyone should accept the beliefs of others. Forgive me if I'm off base, but it seems that you're projecting your ideals. I'm not trying to start an argument at all, simply making a point. Not everyone has to believe in the same thing.

Aw dang...I did NOT want to get into a debate. Sorry but I am too exhausted from the beginning school year..... Well, okay. Debate is generally my middle name - but it's something I enjoy so long as it's with intelligent company. I'll go back to arguing with whomever vandalized my vehicle last night.

Abby has come to terms with Luka's need for religion/spiritualization. She was okay with the baptism after Out on a Limb (a little holy water never hurt anyone) and she insisted on the chaplain for Joe's surgery.
I don't think there can or should be any more expected from her on that front. She's not a religious being and should never have to compromise HER belief system, no matter what it is, for anyone.

Sometimes spirituality is the simple acceptance of knowing what you can or cannot control and relying on something/someone other than yourself. It really has nothing to do with religion or religious tradition, but a power greater than yourself, i.e. another alcoholic or recovery group.

I understand that but the other poster was talking about Abby having a spiritual epiphany. She's not on a mission to seek answers from God, that's never been part of who Abby is, just the opposite. Getting completely wasted isn't going to change that for her. At most it might make her realize she is still an alcoholic and always will be one. It might make Luka realize that too.

Maybe this wont happen but no one here knows, but i really hope thye say 4 episodes and going to surprise us with some more.. he isnt a guest star he is a recurrying role or sth so i think it will be more than 4 episodes.. if its 4 episodes they would say guest role..

Not only that! Maura said "He'll be around for 4 episodes THIS YEAR" which for me it means during 2007 he'll do 4 episodes but S14 shootings run from August 2007 until May 2008, so in my understanding she was just giving a little bit to Kristin because by the time Maura was interviewed next appearances of Goran were in negotiation.
By now, Zabel should know pretty well how many episodes will Goran be doing and he should have written exactly what is needed to have a happy ending for LUBY because he cares about this TV retationship.

Found this at TVbuddy's TVj session; Any news on ER? ER: Nothing new. If you haven't heard, they are trying to get old cast members back this season. Noah Wyle will be back for 4 episodes and he'll be in the ER (no Africa episodes!) Below you'll find the link of a radial interview with Thandie Newton (Carter's girlfiend/fianceé/wife? = Kem Likasu) She talks about her new movie (which by the way I don't know and I don't even care either) and in the 15th minute she talks about ER, about how she was called to join the show as a guest... how her husband has the ER Theme in his cellphone and one day "MISTER BIG ER SCENE" John "Someone" ....Wells... called Thandie. She also comments how she liked the episodes in Africa "But then I just became the girlfriend back in Chicago”, she said. “And, I’m sorry listeners, but that just wasn’t my cup of tea particularly.” (I'm glad the feeling its mutual, Thandie. I can't stand you either).
Then she says "ER is finishing quite soon I hear. I think. That’s what I hear. That’s the rumor. So I think there is going to be a bit of a ‘coming together’ of all of the oldies. All us oldies.”
So what does it says to us? She might come as Carter's girlfriend/fianceé/wife or whatever.

Thanks for posting this! That Thandie's appearing at all means, to me, that they've reconnected again. Carter & Kem I mean. Altrough Thandie says that "she was the girlfriend last time" so I'm guessing that she'll have bigger and more important role this time?

Even as a Luby I know these are good news, I can't stand the woman, don't know why but I avoid watching a movie where she is in.
So with your post I truly hope you meant that Kem by now could be his wife (as bigger role in Carter's life) instead of having more timescreen on ER, because the thought makes me feel sick ;D .... Oh GOD!!!!!

I think that she meant that she had a 'job' during the Africa episodes but was just Carter's eye candy when they were in Chicago. And I would have to echo the sentiments of those of you who can't handle Thandie Newton. I feel the same...and have the same issues with Mariah Carey. Can't quite put my finger on it but when I see/hear either one of them it's ike fingernails on a black board to me. Eeew.
