okey here is more detailed spoilers, its like the spoilers someone posted here before but a little more detailed.
thanks to alaeangelorum on tv.com
Pratt talks to Abby - he says that people are worried she hasn't been herself lately. She says that she's OK, but is just finding things hard without her husband. Pratt asks when he is returning and Abby says in the next day or so. A young teenage boy comes in having fallen from a ladder - his parents are not with him because his dad is in a wheelchair and couldn't come in the ambulance. Abby looks at his x-rays and drops one of the films, and almost questioning Sam to see if she agrees, diagnoses a neck-of-femur fracture. Abby wants a more complicated type of traction than usual which surprises Sam. At one point Abby, Neela and Harold are going to put a chest tube in - Abby is instructing Harold but makes a mistake with the size of tube. Neela starts explaining why the different tube is needed but Abby cuts her off, asking for a clamp - Neela specifies a different type of clamp and Abby is very annoyed - she pulls off her gloves and accuses Neela of trying to impress Harold, as the dad arrives. He's not too keen on Harold, who looks like he is barely qualified, doing his first chest tube (which he is committed to doing correctly, he says) on his son and asks why Abby can't do the tube. She doesn't answer, because she's just seen Luka walk in talking to Morris, and rushes out of the trauma room to hug him. She says she missed him, he kisses her and then has to go. She goes to the staff room to get some coffee, but ends up throwing up in the sink.
Later on Marcus' father wants to know the worst case scenario and Abby explains that this may mean that the boy, Marcus, might not walk properly again. She tries to reassure him but he's heard it all before... Marcus develops subcutaneous emphysema and his condition deteriorates until Harold does an emergency procedure and saves him. Everyone's impressed, except Morris, as Harold is wearing his white tuxedo (apparently a rental).
Harold is checking his watch outside the obs deck - he has a dilemma (I guess it's his girlfriend's homecoming tonight). But he goes in to see Ronny (Marcus' dad) who is watching Marcus' operation. There are complications - a piece of bone had been blocking off an artery, effectively stopping it from bleeding, but now that they've attempted to repair the fractured femur, it has started bleeding. Harold reassures Ronny that Neela will save Marcus. Sam seems to be in the OR with Neela. The operation is a success and Neela thinks Marcus will make a full recovery. Abby later apologises to Ronny for not being very attentive. He describes the accident in which he became paralysed - it also killed Marcus' mother. Abby says everyone messes up now and again, and you just try not to repeat your mistakes, but Ronny says there are some things which you can't make up for.
Earlier on Sam is prepped for working in the OR by someone called Dr. Berkley. She has to intubate Marcus in preparation for the surgery and is nervous as the last time she did this, her own life was under threat. Harold doesn't realise initially what she means until Neela tells him Sam was being serious. Harold congratulates her on a successful intubation.
Moretti says to Abby that they should talk, but they're interrupted before they actually do.
Sarah (not-Gates'-daughter) is having at a party (I think at her own house) with two older girls and a is little out of her depth - she lies about her age too. Later she's outside and a guy called Rick encourages her to smoke a joint, and starts kissing her neck. She's not sure what she should do next, but accepts when he asks if she'd like to go drive somewhere. Later on, Gates is with her in a police station - it looks as if the guy tried to assault her but she fended him off.
At the beginning Julia and Gates return to his apartment, presumably from a date. They're kissing. Julia sees a photo of Sarah and Gates explains who she is. He's a little distracted but then Julia kisses him again. Gates and Julia wake up in bed later on - it seems like she's smoking a joint too. She goes to leave, thinking it a bit early in the relationship to be staying the night. After Gates has been to the police station, they go to see Meg's parents, as Sarah called Gates for help when she was in trouble, rather than them. Sarah's grandmother explains Sarah's not happy, and she doesn't think that she will become happier living with them on their ranch.
A guy with a roll of cheese walks into the ER. Apparently he's doing a cheeserolling contest. British people are involved. The idea is to roll some cheese down a hill and then people roll after it - if you get down the hill first, you get the cheese. Later on some other cheese-rollers arrive - apparently the cheese was stolen. Morris insults David Beckham to break up the crowd. This insult is not well-received. Video footage of the actual event is reviewed, and Morris decides it was a draw, and says the cheese would be split. Gareth (one of the winners) says he will concede the cheese rather than have it split, and Morris, with Solomon-like wisdom, rules that therefore the cheese should be Gareth's. However Frank has gotten to the cheese first.
Moretti's kid is ill - he's flying out to meet him.
Sam's doing some work in OR - Pratt comments it's good that she's branching out and is more than 'just a nurse'. She's a little taken aback at the 'just a nurse' comment.
Harold seems to make his date with his girlfriend - Neela and Morris wait outside the girlfriend's house, watching to make sure he gets there. Morris is a bit emotional.
Harold and Neela also treat someone who has been bitten by a hippo...
Abby gets home and Luka introduces his brother, Niko, to her. It's a little awkward but Abby says she's pleased to meet him and they hug. Luka offers Abby a beer, but she refuses, saying she will have a soda instead. However, when she gets her soda can, she tips out some of the soda to make room for some vodka from a bottle hidden in the freezer (though Luka and his brother don't see this). She returns to them where they've been looking at some of their wedding photos.

reading all the wonderful analysis through the seasons i came to realise how incredibly smart these writers really are and how in the end everything was turning out to be the best and very in-character. so, as everything happens with a reason, i came to pay attention to the patients' storylines, the way they interact with the characters and certain pieces of puzzle that come along the way. this been said, we all are aware that these storylines are planned long ahead, zabel knew last season that GV would only make appearances and spread between the interaction of Abby and Luka some alcohol. i keep thinking about two majore themes: 1. at the wedding, luka kept saying that "how well I know you" and that he pays attention to everything he says (how he got the wedding dress she was looking at in a magazine while he was supposed to be half asleep). this could be understood two ways this season: either he was right and he DOES know her - and later we'll see ...the story will unfold...bla bla bla..or either he really doens't know her at all. remember luka is an introvert who somehow tries to keep himslef away from getting hurt and chooses not to "see" some stuff (for example, when sam's ex first came to town, he backed off for alex and the sake of their "family" but i dont think that even once crossed his mind that sam and steve were together. hope i explained it well). 2. the second theme which i'm very interested in is the car accident. i said it before and i'm saying it again. i noticed during the episodes that TPTB draw paralles to show what's happening next. before moving forward, a good example si the luby I vs luby II: the first time, she kissed him, she came to him, she was on top in their love-making; the second time she did came to him, but he was the instigator, which was different from every relationship we've seen him have and in "I Do" at the end, he turned her over so he was above. to continue, i keep seeing the car accident scene. although she isn;t drinking yet, abby nearly gets in a crash with joe (don't really remember the episode...maybe 14.04 or 05..something like that). again, in blackout she tries to drive but realises she can't; eventually she bumps her head trying to get in the cab. the last piece as i see it (by now) is the patient story she has in "coming home". a dad stuck in a wheelchair after a car accident where his wife died, the remarks abby makes about mistakes or something like that and the boy who is injured this time. (I really hope I read well..i'm always on the run). I'm positive..very sure that nothing will actually happen to Joe...but I just keep thinking about these. To go much forward with the speculation, luka's dad is also in a wheelchair and i'm pretty sure that his mom is dead, the circumstances are different, yes, but i'm pointing to where the characters are at this point (luka and his dad, the guy in the wheelchair and his son). hope i didn't bore anyone...i'm just very intrigued...and of course, i might be just going crazy. one thing sustains my thoughts: what i read about parallels drwan in the episodes turned out true. i mean...luby II really is the exact opposite of the first version.

Abby says everyone messes up now and again, and you just try not to repeat your mistakes, but Ronny says there are some things which you can't make up for. This reference concerns me. I sincerely hope that she hasn't done anything with Moretti. I will SO hate TPTB.......

Me too. It could be she can't make up for her relapse or simply being an alcoholic. I also agree that Zabel always has the long term plan in mind and this May will be their first anniversary. It could also be that Luka found her stash in the freezer and is dropping a hint to her when offering the beer? Luka loves Abby, as is, and although he has knee jerk reactions at times, he also knows she can't be pushed and that she comes around on her own. Anyway ... this is what I'm hoping. I personally could really do without the drinking storyline, but I guess they need some meatier storylines for the season, especially if it may be its last. Ugh.

I sincerely hope that she hasn't done anything with Moretti. I will SO hate TPTB....... I think that reference does apply to her and Moretti. And that she did sleep with him. Maybe that will be her rock bottom. I just hope that Luka doesn't leave when he finds out, because you know if it did happen he will find out. Who knows maybe a drunk Abby will tell him. If Luka does leave again I wouldn't be surprised if he takes Joe with him this time. I'm hoping a lonely Abby will start to turn it around after that. But I hate this storyline. This is so depressing.

I think we're supposed to wonder if she slept w/ him, but she did wake up in her clothes in another room. Perhaps Moretti will be the one to confront her about her drinking? Perhaps his wife had a drinking problem? I don't like the storyline either and I don't think Zabel would actually have them cheat on one another, drunk or not. That would be something that would stay with them the rest of their lives. I have a feeling that Niko's presence will have something to do with her recovery. Why else bring in that character at this point in time?

Why else bring in that character at this point in time? same here! there's no other point. he might've been brought to show us something about luka that we've never seen before, but that would be if he'd still be in the show. there's no time for that so he'll definetly have something to do with abby's relapse.

i agree about the Niko part being a part of her recovery i can't see any other reason why they would bring him into this scene. Does anyone else get a feeling that this major role of luka's could be tie into this storyline of abby's drinking and what kind of a major will it be.

Given that we now have 2 out of Luka's min. 4, max 6, appearances that means we might have only 2 remaining - it's difficult to see how else a 'major role' could fit in!

Unless Maura thought 4 in the interview based on what's been written and Zabel's "bunch" was after some of the written scripts? I'm just hoping the resolution is sooner rather than later and we can get on with some other storylines. I really think based on Zabel's comment that this season will be ER's last and Noah Wyle's appearance may be tied into Luka and/or Abby getting new jobs, thereby alleviating Abby of the pressure that comes w/ having a family and being an ER doc?

the only thing i don't like is that Luka is used here only for Abby's storyline...I mean...not "don't like" but he's appearances are tied to her...as in he wouldn't be interesting any other way. but...any sort of interaction between them is good in my book

IMO more would have been written for him had he not decided to limit his appearances to pursue a movie career. He did agree to finish their storyline and I guess the writers worked around that. What's really sad, IMO, is that his movie career is going nowhere and he would have been better off staying on. Perhaps, he also realizes this and agreed to do more episodes. Maybe he'll come back as chief eventually, as Tucci is only a guest star?

I like the name of Luka's brother. Anyways...
I like the idea of her falling off the wagon. It's more realistic as some alcoholics do have slip ups. (Although this is exactly a small slip up, but whatever.) It's good that they add her nearly injuring Joe because it sometimes takes a huge shock or dramatic happening to alert the person to what they are doing and how it's endangering those they love. In this case, it would alert Abby to the fact that she has a young son to look after.
I also do not think she slept with Morretti. It's not her character. I do not think the writer's would do that. They did say Abby and Luka would get a happy ending and if Abby cheated on Luka, I am sure he wouldn't be so welcoming and happy to be with her when he knows she cheated. I am sticking to my guns with this one and hoping that it's just the misconception of these spoilers that is leading people to believe she slept with him.

The blurb in the TV Guide for the upcoming season said that the surrogate family dynamic in the ER would be rearranged. Perhaps w/ Abby, she'll finally realize and accept that she cannot control and do everything on her own. She's not as independent as she thought she wanted to be.
