Just the title and a bit of information about Abby being in an in-patient rehab center. I got these from that "other place". Since I know it's not nice to post something and not give credit.
more later..as they say

Posted by BotoxPrincess at AEB: Anspaugh gives Abby a deal similar to the one Weaver and Greene gave Carter when he got back from rehab. She asks for more time off to go be with Luka and Joe in Croatia.
So Luka took joe back to Croatia! did wonder...

So..when Zabel talked about the scripts, saying that one's ready to shoot, one needs a few touches-or something like that-and the third is a draft, can we asume this is the second?Or did they already shoot Status Quo which makes this the ready to shoot one?
Anyway...nice...again, from AEB, Abby informs Pratt that she and Luka are talking everyday (yey) and that he wanted to get back after his father;s funeral but she told him to stay.
well..at least she seems at ease with everything...
any speculation about the timeline? if 14.10 was the Christmas episode and 14.11 takes place in January that mean she's been in rehab for a month?

I saw this coming, though it's still a little bit blurred for me since I haven't spoiled myself that much. lol. It's nice she wants to join them, hope will get to see that.

Dubenko_junkie from AEB
Abby has been in an in patient detox facility.
In order to come back to work she has to agree to AA meetings 3 times a week, diversion group twice a week and urine tests at random.
She apparently checked herself into the detox facility. My guess is at the end of 300 Patients.
It's clear from the sides that she did not go to Croatia and Luka took Joe with him. Luka wanted to return right after the funeral. Abby told him to stay, she needed to do parts of this recovery on her own.
Pratt has gone to bat for Abby to get her back to work ASAP, she then asks for time off to go to Croatia, 'a couple weeks'.
Anspaugh changes the deal to 60 meetings in 60 days when she teturns in addition to group and urine tests.
The other stories are a patient for Abby, a young girl who may be going blind.
Gates and Sam get a combative drug user who was beaten up and had a severe fracture. Also her neighbor, who saved her is interesting. He was injured in a car accident and disfigured badly at some point in the past.
Neela takes the ortho rotation. They play hockey in the hallways. Harold gets smacked in the head with a puck before being sent off to work with Crenshaw (whom Harold says hates him more than Dubenko does).
Jaspreet is still around.
Thank god !! She's better .. and she wants to go to croatia !!

Still from dubenko_junkie on AEB More spoilers: Beefcake firemen make Javier the desk clerk happy. Seems a fire is what brings in a bunch of the patients this episode, including the little girl Abby treats. They are foster kids. Harold and Morris are still vying for Jaspreet's affections Abby returns to work and people all assume she's been in Croatia. She doesn't want to talk about it and answers things vaguely or not at all. "Luka's good" ""Croatia's European". I don't like that, the fact that she's not saying anything about Croatia Pratt's toilet has been running for two weeks (yay?) and he is yelling at his land lord on the phone. Frank thinks he's yelling at Radiology. Julia the chaplain is around. She keeps the chapel open all night for the fire fighters (one of their own has a spinal injury) Julia has family woes. Her brother is a devout Catholic and a hedge fund millionaire. He's stopped in for a surprise visit. Thinks she's wasting her like as a chaplain making very little money. Julia wants Gates to meet her family. Morris is working while sick, hooked up to an IV and puking into a bed pan.

umm..regarding the Croatia episode...I think we are most likely to hear that she's there, not actually take a road trip with her. Although it would be amazing, what can they show us? Abby going sightseeing? Are they gonna make the episode to be a commercial for travelling to Europe? E.R. aldready had too much road-trips. If she goes, and that's still a big IF I think she'll be out of the show for a couple more episodes to give others enough screen time, just to return with Luka and Joe, this time for good.
I really hate that this season is written based on GV's contract. If he was in the show, no way he had left again.
I have one slight curiosity...In an episode last year, when Luka was supposed to cut an attenting that made more than 200,000/year they said that the only ones that were paid that much were him and Kerry. Now,Luka and Abby aren't big spenders, they still live in an apartment, no expensive vacations and apart from his "toys" (big screen tv, playstation ..etc) - which I don't think were that expensive - and the car(s) they really haven't spent many money. But he hasn't been working for a really big period of time and she's still a resident. So...how can these people still afford to take time off? From what I know, the in-patient rehab clinics are pretty expensive. Do doctors really make that much since they don't seem to be having problems? It just bugs me ...

I don't like that, the fact that she's not saying anything about Croatia sorry for the double posting - she doesn't say anything because people (other than Pratt and Anspaugh) think she's been there the whole time. She can't answer any of their questions because she has no idea about it, hence the "croatia's european". She doesn't want people to know that she didn't go and went to rehab instead so she's just saying what she knows, which isn't a lot. (what can you say about a country until you've actually been there?)

But what I don't understand is that apparently at County they know she's on a rehab clinic because she has to follow a program Anspaugh dealt with... And now we have Abby lying about Croatia cause she doesn't want anyone to know that she's in rehab I'm lost

I think residents do make more than the average person or maybe not, but they do have a very hhuuggeeee amount of loans to payback. So most of Abby's money goes there, but Carter did pay the rest of her schooling. As for Luka, for all we know, maybe he invests his money, does real estate on the side and rents out apartments to others, or buys repossed houses to sell them at a higher price later. That' pretty common to do, but I'm not sure if he's the type to do that. Who knows? He did make enough money already before he was the cheif like when he had the Viper. And I guess the bottom line is that it's all just a show and they could do whatever they want sometimes without real explainations.

Complete spoilers...I guess...from "that place" umm...I'll just post the Abby related stuff. Most of it was already posted, but some details weren't included. If not interesting, the mod should feel free to delete this post <<It seems Abby had been in a residential detox facility but now is being reinstated at County with probationary status. She has to attend meetings and submit to random drug testing but the hospital was willing to waive some meeting requirements since Abby had voluntarily checked into the detox facility. She appears before a panel that includes Anspaugh and also Haleh. Abby asks for a couple of weeks to meet up with Luka and Joe, who have been in Croatia since Luka’s father’s funeral. They agree but since they can’t monitor her in Europe she has to start all over without waived meetings when she returns. She agrees. Pratt supports her before this panel. (Note: I notice that Anspaugh speaks of him as if he is in charge in the ER, though it might just be that Pratt is her superior.) Later, Abby tells Pratt that Luka wanted to come back after the funeral but Abby told him not to since Luka couldn’t really do anything to help her and some things she just needs to do alone. Abby has not told the rest of the staff where she was, and indeed she lets them believe she was in Croatia. The staff welcomes her back throughout the day, though at one point the directions say she wished something “went better” with Sam and Gates, I believe, and later it seems there is something she doesn’t want to talk about with Sam. In an apartment fire, two foster children are hurt as well as a firefighter. The firefighter is in bad shape at first and appears paralyzed, but he pulls through. Eleven-year-old Dexter requires surgery. He is unstable throughout the episode but Abby picks up that the child has a pelvic fracture despite earlier tests not supporting it. The 7-year-old, Jada, is less severely injured but her 16-year-old foster sister, Keisha, accuses her of setting the fire by leaving the oven on. The foster mother was down in the laundry room when the fire started. She is single and takes care of five foster kids and tries to get Keisha to leave Jada alone. Abby has a rapport with little Jada and gives her a pep talk, saying that sometimes if it feels like a grown-up doesn’t like you, it’s probably because they are mad or sad and not because of you. Abby tells Jada that she likes her. Jada confesses she once left the oven on but not this time. Abby apparently notices that Jada has a vision problem. It overwhelms Yolanda who says that Jada does seem clumsy. Jada undergoes very serious tests and Abby stays with her. The opthamologist is impressed with Abby’s pickup, but he is not the hopeful type, which annoys Abby. The condition is very serious and likely to lead to blindness. They will continue testing Jada by sending her blood to a lab in Iowa. Abby tries to comfort Yolanda, saying that Jada can still be active and enjoy her life. Later, Abby confirms with a firefighter that the fire was not Jada’s fault, which brings the little girl great relief. The little girl opens her arms to hug Abby, which Abby seems to need as much as the girl, the notes imply. >> Oh..one thing I found slightly interesting about other storylines: <<Gates and Sam share patients throughout the episode. At the end, she invites him and Sarah to join her and a visiting Alex for the evening. Gates declines saying that he can’t and has something to do.>>.
