Coffeequeen, Hallelujah for the writer's block. I want one like this every two days! As usual, you write with beautiful and caring words these teenage emotions which are so tense and strong. The awkwardness between Abby and Luka is so well written! They are both so hurt and so hopeful at the same time! I enthousiastically give you a karma!

This is a small part that I should’ve included in the other update, but I forgot to. Next update will be real soon. And thanks for all the comments! You all rock! -Kaye xoxo (And I know I said my name was Christina, and it is, but I go by my middle name since....forever!) “Are you sure you want to do this?” he whispered into her ear, as his warm breathe traveled down her neck.
“I couldn’t be surer about something in my life, or about someone.” she whispered back truthfully.
Every caress with such an intensity that almost didn’t seem real, every kiss was filled with fire. Despair became hope, and loss became love. His hands threaded through her hair, and ran down her back leaving traces of feelings that became memories. The darkness around them gave them the comfort enough to shed the clothes that until now was the only thing that kept them from each other. He parted his lips from hers, and he looked at her with eyes that seemed to swerve with different shades of blue and smoky green. They were so different from her own dark chestnut eyes, yet so alike in what they held in them. He asked her question with them that he was afraid to ask her with his voice, and in return she caressed a side of his face and smiled. That was enough of an answer for them both. She felt his lips on her fingertips and felt too many emotions in her stomach to tell exactly what they were. She placed a hand on his face and kissed him slowly, but full of devotion. They were in a storm and he was her only oxygen in all the chaos. They merged and became part of one another, like a spell never to be broken. For a moment all of this didn’t feel real, but her heartbeat and his, along with the rain that fell outside, confirmed that it was all real. She let her protective wall fall away just for him, only for that moment in which her heart felt healed of its cuts and bruises. Their breathing deepened. She savored everything about each touch, kiss, and smile. Something inside told her that she had to cherish all of this, keep it tucked in her memory, because no matter how much they wished for this moment to last forever, it wouldn’t. But that night, they both found peace, something they hadn’t felt in a long time.

This update is happier!!!! Yay!! Anyway, thanks for the comments they’re great as always! -Kaye
Three days had gone by since that night in which they had truly found each other. Abby had convinced Luka that not going to school for one day wasn’t going to mean the end of mankind. And she had persuaded him to go into one of those expensive stores so she could try on a dress that she could only dream of owning. Abby twirled in the dress feeling awkward and stupid as she saw her reflection in the mirror. She hated looking at herself in the mirror, she felt she was better off not looking at her reflection. She couldn’t however help but look at the herself in the dress. The dress itself was gorgeous, with layers of red silk and other fancy cloth, a u-shape was cut along the back exposing a bit of it, and the cloth fell right below her knees and was a ragged at the tips. The front had the same kind of shape but didn’t expose as much the cloth felt like a caress to her skin and she would’ve died to take it home with her. But there was slight problem and its name was the price. Her jeans under it and black shoes gave her a dark and intriguing look.
Luka looked at her and couldn’t help but to smile at they way she twirled in it. She didn’t care about seeming stupid to others or making a fool of herself. She was who she was, and that was one of the things he adored about her. When he was around her, he wasn’t afraid of doing anything wrong or of saying something stupid, because she would just smile and nod as if that was the most natural thing in the world. She got in trouble…often. But it wasn’t because she was a “bad girl”, but because when she didn’t want to do something she didn’t do it. She had her own rules and he admired her for it. God, he wished his mother could’ve met her. She would’ve loved Abby. His mother was very strong-willed and always encouraged him to not to give up.
“Geez, this dress is three-hundred and twenty dollars.” she said as she walked overly to him and sighed as she let go the name tag. He snapped out of thoughts and returned his attention to her.
“So what do you think?” she asked.
“I think I’m crazy for falling for you.” he said not really answering her question about the dress, but answering another one she hadn’t dared asked him, but was always on her mind.
She smiled and answered playfully, “ You finally realized that?”
She leaned over and pressed her lips slightly, teasingly to his. Her felt her fingertips on the side of his face. The both jumped up as they heard a scream and alarm ringing. The both stood up and looked at a fire that had somehow ignited in a trash can near the counter and spread to papers and a dress that was dangling near it and then quickly lit whatever it touched. The employees grabbed a fire extinguisher and tried frantically to stop the fire and the orange and yellow flames fought back to stay alive and continue swallowing whatever it could. People began to run out of the fancy boutique as the store rapidly became an inferno, quickly catching all the dresses that were conveniently close to each other. Luka grabbed Abby’s hand and she grabbed her bag and let Luka guide her out of the store. To her surprise he didn’t stop when they were safely away from the store. He kept running and kept a firm grip on her hand. She felt her feet pound hard against the ground as he kept running. Her breathing became husky along with his, until finally he reached the bridge, slowed down and stopped.
“Okay… the…heck…did you…make me…run.” she said between pants and shallow breaths.
“Well, now…you can… keep the dress.” he said grinning as he looked over to the side of the bridge at the sun that was beginning to set and taking all of its bright colors with it. It left pinks and purples streaking the sky like a painting.
The thought hadn’t crossed Abby’s mind as she grinned along with him. She was dumbfounded by how quickly he had reacted and thought of the idea. She couldn’t think of what to say so she grabbed him by the shirt and brought him down to her lips and kissed him as she was still grinning and his eyes strayed from the sun to a sight a hundred times more radiant.
