Haven't seen Instinct yet, have been forcing my mum to buy it but the evil creature won't! Ah I'll buy it myself.. it's not available in stores though. Mooseport was kickass. Didn't like the movie so much but Maura just rocked my socks (she always does). Loooved the part at the golf court.. drunk!Sally rocks. They were supposed to air Primary Colours here in Holland (Belgium actually but I also have the channel here on TV) but that was cancelled.. they said they were going to air it later this month..

Thanks guys! I might have to just get me a copy of that, I so want to see this movie. ETA: I just brought it! So much for saving for my trip to the UK but it was only 8.18pounds for a new one! I just hope it dosn't take months to get to NZ ~ So excited to finally be able to see the movie! Yay! So glad you finally get to see this gem. I would love to show it to my high school students to accompany Macbeth, but unfortunatley there are too many delicious swear words from Maura and the cast for them to be allowed to view it. Enjoy! Can't wait to hear what you think. P.S. I posted this in the Forces of Nature thread, so at the risk of sounding repetative I just wanted to let you guys know that Forces of Nature is being shown this month on HBO. I watched it again this weekend. Forgot how luminious Maura is in this! Great movie.

Can't wait to hear what you think. We just finished reading Macbeth this past week. The teacher was talking about watching a movie about it, and I wanted to suggest Scotland PA, but I doubt that would go over well. I sorta wish they had an edited version without all the swear words, but then you wouldn't be able to understand most of the words comming out of Pat's mouth.

Man, I love Scotland Pa As soon as I can convince my mum to hand over her credit card, I'm ordering Forces Of Nature, Primary Colours and Welcome to Mooseport off Amazon. Secondhand, it's only gonna come to £8.00 Good choices/bad choices?

For they living in the UK, there are a few Maura Movies coming up for them. It includes: Oxygen, Instinct and Primal Fear. I couldn't find out which network but I guess you could figure that out.

All right, I wasn't going to say anything until after the fact, but I got too excited...So the new Maura Tierney movie (Semi Pro) with Will Ferrell and Woody Harrelson is being filmed close to where I go to school, and I managed to sign up as one of the extras (unpaid) for the large crowd scenes. Which means...I'm going to be on the set with Maura, if she's there that day, and for sure on set with Woody, Will, and Andre 3000 (another of the stars). I'm super excited and hopefully I'll get to see Maura. They said I'm supposed to come IN COSTUME, so I've been hitting thrift shops for 1970's gear. Apparently they pick a few to be paid extras with lines...not a good chance, but I figured I might as well give it a shot and get really decked out. I'll post pictures of the outfit and any I can sneak on my camera phone since there are no cameras allowed on set. I don't know if this is going to be anything more than just a really WIERD adventure, but I'm super excited and thought I'd share the news...

Yay!!! Thats so exciting! Even if you don't get to see her there, it will be an experience you won't forget. It would be awesome if luck was on your side and she was there. What would be even better is if you got to be one of the extras with lines and it involved working right by Maura. So I hope fate is on your side that day!!!

wow, Maggie. That's so cool. I wish I could do that. I'm a film major and would just like to see how a Hollywood production functioned, let alone being able to be on set with all the stars.

WOW that is very exciting news Maggie, no wonder you couldn't keep quiet. Even if you don't get to see Maura that is still cool you will be in the same movie as her! Although I have my fingers crossed you get to work on the same set as her
