These lines are so beautiful that I wouldn't mind if it was the end of the story. Luka and Abby have become a whole again. And when you write that" EVERYTHING makes them perfect for each other" , you said it all. When I reread your fic, the music is like a character in itself, expressing feelings that were so difficult for Luka and Abby to say to each other. And it's simply perfect!

Hi everyone...okay...well I know I havent posted in a while, but I just moved back to school and I've been having 4 hours of tennis practice a day...so I've been exhausted!
But, now I'm home until tomorrow night. I wrote another chapter on my computer at school, but since I dont have that with me..I decided to just post the next chapter and I'll add the other one in when I get back to school. It's just some bedtime chatter between Abby and Luka.
Enjoy!

Chapter 46: “The Morning After”
It wasn’t until about 4 in the morning that Abby and Luka finally drifted off into a deep sleep. They had laid in bed together, all day long, just safe and happy in each other’s arms. It had been perfect.
Abby opened her eyes at the sound of the running water in the shower being shut off. She wiped her eyes sleepily and then looked over at the clock on the night stand. It was already 6 am. She rolled over in bed and yawned as the bathroom door opened and Luka appeared, still wet from his shower, a towel wrapped around his waist. When he noticed that she was awake, he looked over at her and smiled. “Good morning,” she said with a grin. “Morning,” Abby responded sleepily. Luka took a few steps in her direction. “I was going to wake you up when I got up to shower,” he began. “But you looked like you were enjoying yourself.” Abby blushed. “I wasn’t drooling or anything, right?” She asked, embarrassed. Luka shook his head. “Of course not,” he said. “You look beautiful when you sleep.” Abby propped herself up in the bed and Luka came and sat down beside her. He laid his work clothes at the bottom of the bed and then turned his attention in Abby’s direction. “You look almost as beautiful when you sleep then as you do when you’re awake,” he added. Abby rolled her eyes and leaned her head against the head board of Luka’s bed. “Yeah, right,” she added with a laugh and Luka reached out and grabbed her hand. “You hungry?” He asked with a smile. Abby nodded her head. “Yeah, actually, I am,” she said. Luka smiled. “Good,” he began. “I guess we worked up an appetite?” Abby lowered her head and nodded. Luka noticed her cheeks pinken as she looked down at her hands. “Well, I’ll make us something,” she said as he gently squeezed her hand, then he stood up. “And I’ll get a quick shower,” Abby added as she threw the covers off of her legs and scrambled to her feet.
Luka laughed as he watched Abby scamper across the wooden floor, his extra large t-shirt dangling down around her knees. She spun around and looked at him smiling. “What?” She asked with a laugh, and Luka shrugged. “Nothing,” he said laughing. “You just wear that well, that’s all.” Abby looked down at the t-shirt and shrugged. “Thank you,” she said with a laugh and Luka nodded his head. As she reached the bathroom door, Abby spun around. “There’s a towel on the towel rack for you,” Luka said before Abby could even open her mouth to speak. She looked up at him and smiled. “Okay,” she said. Luka smiled and nodded back.
Abby let the hot water pound against her aching back. The reality of everything was finally beginning to sink in, and she was exhausted. Abby quickly opened a bottle of Luka’s shampoo and poured some into her hand. As she lathered the soapy shampoo through her hair, Abby took a deep breath. She felt her knees weaken a little as the scent surrounded her. God, how she loved the way Luka’s hair smelled.
Once she finished rinsing herself off, Abby turned off the shower and grabbed the towel Luka had left for her. She hesitated a moment before drying off and looked down at the dark green towel that she held in her hands. She remembered shopping with Luka for these exact bathroom towels the first time they were together. Luka had chosen an ugly brown colored towel, and she remembered giving him a disapproving look at they stood in the linen store. She could still remember the funny expression he had on his face when she glared at him. It had been easy to change his mind and she had been surprised. She should have realized then how much she loved him, then, she could have been this happy all along.
As she wrapped the warm, thick towel around her wet body, Abby looked around the bathroom and frowned. She had forgotten that she didn’t have a change of clothes at Luka’s place anymore. As she debated what exactly she was going to do, Abby heard the deep. Unrhythmic sound of Luka’s voice coming from the kitchen. She narrowed her eyes as she tried to make out what he was singing, and then began to laugh. Was he really singing what she thought he was singing?
Abby made sure to open the bathroom door quietly so that Luka didn’t hear her coming. She had to see his attempt at singing with her own eyes to actually believe it was true. Abby made her way out of the bathroom and tip-toed closer towards the kitchen. Sure enough, she watched as Luka stood in front of the stove, singing “The Power of Love,” by Celine Dion. She bit her lip to keep from laughing. A moment later, Luka spun around to grab two plates from the kitchen table, and he spotted Abby. She tried to duck down a little, but it was too late. Luka ran his fingers through his hair embarrassed. “How long have you been standing there?” He asked with a grin. Abby noticed the pinkness of his cheeks was deepening a little more with each second that passed. Abby shrugged. “Long enough,” she answered with a laugh. Luka rolled his eyes. “And what’s so funny?” He asked. “Can’t a guy sing if he wants to?” Abby nodded her head, still laughing. “Sure,” she answered. “Whatever floats your boat.” Luka narrowed his eyes and looked at Abby carefully. “Whatever floats my boat?” He asked confused. Abby shook her head and took a few steps towards him. “Nevermind,” she said. It was then that she realized that she was still wearing only a towel. The way Luka was looking at her gave her goosebumps.
“Um, I just realized that I don’t have any clothes,” she said. Luka smiled then he set down two plates full of eggs on the kitchen table. He headed in the direction of the bedroom and then leaned down and gathered each piece of Abby’s clothing that had been scattered all over the bedroom floor. “We have a bra, some panties, pants, and a shirt,” he said as he scooped up each item from it’s place on the floor. “Here, clothes,” he said as he handed the messy pile of clothes to Abby. She took them, smiling and then hesitated. “Well?” Luke asked, as he crossed his arms and leaned against the wall. Abby looked up at him. “But I wore these to work yesterday,” she said. Luka simply shrugged. “So?” He asked. “So,” Abby answered. “If I wear them again, everyone will notice and they’ll know that something is going on.” Luka smiled. “Well, isn’t something going on?” He asked cooly. Abby lowered her head and smiled slightly. “Well, yeah,” she began. “But, everything just sort of happened. I didn’t know...you know. Well, we didn’t really talk...” Luka held up his hand. “Okay,” he began. “Okay.” Then he took a few steps towards Abby. “So what you are saying is, you don’t want anyone to know about us? Is that what you are saying?” Abby shrugged and looked up at him. “Well, I don’t know,” she said softly. “Us? So we are an us?” She asked. Luka smiled as he reached out and ran his fingers along the side of Abby’s cheek. “If that’s what you want,” he said with a smile. Abby looked down and then a smile came across her lips. She raised her eyes to look at Luka. “Yes,” she said softly. “It’s what I want.” Luka nodded his head and then leaned in and kissed Abby quickly on the lips. When he went to pull away, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in again, kissing him deeply. They kissed for a few moments, standing half-dressed in the middle of the dining room, and then Luka finally opened his eyes and noticed the clock behind Abby’s head. He gave her one long kiss and then finally pulled away. “I’d love to spend another day lying in bed with you,” he said with a grin. “But, we have to be in work in 25 minutes.” Abby’s eyes opened wide as she spun around and looked at the clock. “Crap,” she mumbled as she turned and made her way to the bathroom. “I’ll be right there!” She called through the open bathroom door. “Start eating,” Luka shook his head and laughed. “Whatever floats your boat,” he called into the bathroom and he heard Abby let out a quick laugh.

Chapter 47: “Back to Reality”
Luka grabbed Abby’s hand as they rode the el to work. He smiled when Abby’s squeezed his hand gently and moved her body a little closer to his own. He had to admit, the day started off a whole lot better waking up with Abby by his side and judging by the smile planted on her face, he guessed that she felt the same way too.
As the el came to a screeching stop, Luka stood up and held Abby’s waist as she slid past him. She smiled up at him as he grabbed the bag she had thrown over her should and placed it on his own. “Thanks,” she said, grinning as they made their way up the stairs and towards the hospital. Abby looked up at the sky as she walked at Luka’s side. He noticed the blonde highlights in her hair with the bright sun shining down on it. She noticed he was looking at her, so Abby turned and smiled at Luka. “There isn’t a cloud in the sky,” Abby said with a sigh. Luka nodded. “I know,” he said. “It’s beautiful.” Abby nodded. “Maybe it’s a sign,” she said with a shrug. Luka narrowed his eyes and looked at her. “A sign?” He asked. Abby nodded slightly and folded her arms across her chest. “You know, a sign,” she said with a smile. Luka shook his head. “Oh, you mean a sign?” He asked with a laugh and Abby laughed back. “You know,” Abby began and then looked down at her feet. “Like a sign that all the bad stuff is over and that everything is going to be okay,” she said. Luka nodded and moved closer to Abby. Then he reached out and took her hand and wrapped his fingers with hers. “I’d like that,” he said.
Luka felt Abby tighten her grip on his hand as they neared the hospital doors. He was happy that she didn’t pull away or let go. For him, that was more of a sign than anything else. Luka looked down at his watch. “Coffee?” He asked as he nodded his head in the direction of the tiny stand on the corner. Abby nodded in agreement and they made their way towards the stand. “Two coffees,” Luka said to the man behind the counter, then he turned and smiled down at Abby. “Good idea,” she said as she smiled up at him. “I’ll need some extra caffeine to get me through the day.” Luka laughed. “Me too,” she said as he took the two cups of coffee and handed on to Abby.
As they turned around to head towards the hospital, Abby nearly crashed into Susan who was standing almost directly behind her. Dr. Greene was standing behind her. “Hey guys,” she said with an awkward smile. “Hey,” Abby answered and Luka simply nodded his head. “Geez, Abby,” Susan started. “You look like crap! Did you get any sleep last night?” Abby felt her cheeks redden as she lowered her head. Susan’s eyes widened as she looked back and forth from Abby to Luka and then she smiled. “Well, it’s been a rough week,” she added casually. “And one can never have enough coffee,” she said as she nodded down at Abby’s cup of coffee. Luka nodded in agreement and then smiled slightly. “Well, I’ll see you in there,” Susan said as she stepped forward to order her coffee. “See you in there,” Abby repeated as she quickly turned and walked away.
Both Abby and Luka kept their heads down as they headed straight to the lounge. They were happy when no one seemed to notice their presence in the workplace. Abby quickly walked through the door and looked around. Luka watched her with a smile and then he did his part by closing the door behind him. Abby set her coffee down on the table and began to walk towards Luka. She stood about a foot in front of him and looked to the side before she spoke. “Okay,” she started and then hesitated. “Okay, so we can’t like...let this interfere with our job,” she said as she slowly took a few tiny steps closer to Luka. He smiled down at her and nodded his head. “And you know, we can’t go around acting like two crazy kids who can’t keep their hands off of each other because they’ll have our ass’s if we get caught.” Luka nodded as he reached out with his free arm and wrapped it around Abby’s waist. She looked down at it and then up at Luka. He lowered his head to kiss her but she held two of her fingers to his lips. “And,” she started. “If we are ever going to mess around....we have to make absolutely sure that no one is around and that the doors are locked and that no one can hear us.” Luka laughed and quickly planted a kiss on Abby’s neck. “Well, that might be a little hard,” he said. “You know, keeping you quiet.” Abby laughed and kissed him back. “What....time....is....it?” Abby asked in between quick little kisses. Luka looked down at his watch. “7:10,” he said. Abby sighed. “Okay,” she said, kissing him more deeply. “Let’s make this fast.” Luka laughed as he kissed Abby. “We’re crazy,” he managed to mumble between deep kisses. “But I love it.”

Chapter 48: “In the Public Eye”
Abby grabbed Luka’s arm as he headed out the door and pulled him back in. “Here, wait a minute,” she said. “The back of your shirt isn’t tucked in.” Luka smiled and lifted his arms so that Abby could fix his shirt for him. When she was finished, he turned around and faced her. “Ready?” He asked. Abby nodded. “I guess so,” she said with a faint smile. Luka turned and reached for the door, but Abby grabbed his arm again. “What now?” He asked with a smile and an eye roll as he spun around. Abby sighed. “Do you think Susan suspects anything?” She asked. Luka turned to face Abby and reached out and took her hand in his. “I mean, we were just getting coffee together,” Abby added. Luka let out a sigh of his own. “Why are you so worried?” He asked. “Do you not want anyone to know that we are back together?” Abby shrugged. “I…don’t know,” she said softly. “It’s just that when everyone knows, everyone wants to get involved. Everyone watches everything you do and knows all of your business, and you know that I’m a pretty private person.” Luka nodded. “Well, then we’ll keep it to ourselves,” he added with a smile, then he leaned in and gently kissed Abby on the lips. As she wrapped her arms around him in an embrace, the door flung open and Susan walked in. “Oh…I’m sorry!” She mumbled as she took a few steps towards leaving the room, but Luka shook his head. “Susan, it’s okay,” he said. “What is it?” Susan cleared her throat. “There’s a trauma coming in and Dr. Weaver asked me to find you, and I figured you’d be in here,” she said with a laugh. Abby looked up and rolled her eyes. “Well, let me get to work,” Luka said as he let go of Abby’s hand and walked out the door.
The second the door closed behind Luka, both Abby and Susan broke out into a fit of laughter. “So, what is going on here?” Susan asked, her eyes were wide. Abby shrugged. “I don’t know,” Abby began. “It just…sort of….happened.” Susan smiled. “I bet he came back from Africa a changed man?” Susan asked with the wink of an eye. Abby rolled her eyes. “Oh, you really are the worst!” Abby groaned. Susan laughed. “Well, just tell me the details and I’ll leave you alone,” she said. Abby sighed. “Okay, okay, what do you want to know?” Susan glared at Abby. “Abby, I’m a girl. Not to mention a girl who currently has no personal life of her own. I want to know everything!” Abby laughed. The door opened and Dr. Greene walked in. “Abby, Susan, we need you two,” he said. “And Susan, didn’t I send you to get help? I didn’t send you to find a replacement so you could have girl talk or whatever it is you are doing.” Susan and Abby looked at each other and laughed. “God, you and Luka talked already?” Abby asked and when Mark looked away, she knew she had her answer. “Wow,” Susan started. “Guys really are worse than us.” Mark shook his head and nodded in the direction of the trauma room. “Let’s go!” He said, holding in a laugh and then he went out the door again.
Susan opened the door and turned back in Abby’s direction. “Are you coming?” She asked. Abby covered her face with her hands. “I’m so embarrassed,” she said as she shook her head. Susan closed the door and took a few steps towards Abby. “Oh come on, this ER is like one big soap opera,” she said. “Don’t worry about it. No one really cares about you and Luka anyway.” Abby stuffed her hands into her pockets. “You think so?” She asked. Susan nodded reassuringly. “Trust me,” she began. “There is a lot more dirt and scandal going on right now then you even know about.” Abby’s eyes widened. “Really?” She asked as they headed towards the trauma room. “Really,” Susan repeated.
As they walked down the hallway, two of the nurses gave Abby a funny look. “Did you see that?” Abby asked. Susan shrugged. “They gave me a look,” Abby said. “What kind of look?” Susan asked. Abby sighed. “You know…that look…that tells you that they know something about you and they are secretly laughing about it and letting you know that they know and that they are laughing at you.” Susan rolled her eyes. “Wow, you really are paranoid,” she said. Abby groaned. “So, truthfully, how long do you think it will take for everyone to find out about me and Luka?” Susan stopped walking and turned around and stared at Abby. “Are you kidding? This is County. Everyone already knows!” Abby lowered her head dejected. “But don’t worry, Abby,” Susan started. “It’ll pass soon.” Abby’s eyes widened. “Really?” She asked. “How long do you think it will take for them to forget?” Susan shrugged. “This place is like one of those trashy tabloids. They focus on one thing until something better and more trashy comes along.” Abby nodded. “Well, let’s hope that day comes soon because I can’t stand this…being in the public eye. I feel like I can’t even pee without someone talking about me in the next stall. It’s like…we are Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt or something. I’m just waiting for the photographers.” Susan laughed loudly. “Oh come on, Luka is no Brad Pitt,” Susan said with a laugh. Abby shrugged. “And I actually look nothing like Angelina Jolie,” Abby began. “I was just trying to be extremely over dramatic.” Susan shook her head. “No, I see a little Angelina in you,” she said with a laugh. Abby looked down at her dirty nurse’s uniform and rolled her eyes. “Where?” She asked. Susan smiled. “I don’t know…maybe I should ask Brad…I mean….Luka,” she said with a laugh. Abby rolled her eyes. “Oh shut up!” She said jokingly. “It was one bad analogy!” Susan opened the trauma room door. “One bad analogy that this trashy tabloid ER will never forget!” She said.

Chapter 49: “Too Good to be True”
For two weeks, Abby and Luka spent every free moment together. Susan had been right, everyone did become extremely interested in their reuniting for a while, but then it quickly became old news. Abby was grateful that everyone seemed to forget about them after about a week. She liked just being able to be with Luka. When he was around her, the whole world seemed to disappear.
Monday morning came soon enough and Abby and Luka were out the door and on their way to work by 6:30 in the morning. They held hands as they walked through the doors of County, and no one seemed to notice. Abby smiled up at Luka, and he smiled back. Soon enough, they were busy with work. Abby was putting some gauze over a sutured abrasion when she Jerry pulled open the curtain. “Do you know where Luka is?” Jerry asked, looking around. Abby shrugged as she cut a piece of tape and placed it over the edge of the gauze. “I haven’t seen him in about an hour,” she said. Jerry turned to walk away but Abby stopped him. “Why? What’s up?” She asked. Jerry shrugged. “Carter’s on the phone for him,” he said. Abby’s heart dropped. “Carter?” She asked. “He’s calling Luka from Africa?” Jerry nodded. “He’s calling Luka from Africa,” he repeated. For a moment, Abby was angry. Carter had only called her from Africa one time, and that was to tell her that Luka was alive. That had been it. “Well, give me a second and I’ll go look for him,” Abby said. Jerry nodded and headed back towards the desk. Abby smiled down at the elderly woman who she had just finished bandaging. “Now remember, this can’t get wet for one week,” she said. “Be sure to make a follow up appointment to have the sutures removed. Keep it clean and dry,” she called as she walked backwards out of the curtain and down the hall.
Sure enough, Abby found Luka in trauma two. He looked up at her from under goggles and a mask when she entered. “Abby, what do you need?” Dr. Romano asked briefly. “If you want a little booty call from your European dream boat, then you’ll have to wait until we control this man’s uncontrolled abdominal bleed,” he said. Luka glared at Romano and then looked over at Abby. She shrugged off his comment. “No, actually Jerry asked me to come and look for Luka,” she began, but once again, Romano cut her off. “Well, I didn’t know Jerry was into Dr. Kovac here,” he said. “Looks like we have something new and exciting to gossip about team! Now isn’t that exciting.” Dr. Corday held up her hand. “Robert, please,” she groaned. “For the love of God, shut up!” The rest of the staff let out a muffled chuckle. “Now, Abby, you were saying?” Elizabeth continued. Abby nodded in Elizabeth’s direction. “Jerry has Carter holding on line 1,” she said. “He wants to talk to Luka.” Romano turned to look at Luka, but Luka’s eyes remained fixed on the patient. “Now, that’s long distance,” Romano said. “Dr. Kovac, we’ve got this under control,” Dr. Romano added. “Give Carter our best.” Luka nodded and finally lifted his eyes from the patient and looked at Abby. The look that he gave her was one that she would never forget. What was it about this phone call that Luka was dreading? Abby hoped and prayed that it wouldn’t change the way things were, but deep inside, she knew it was bound to.
Abby watched helplessly as Luka removed his gown, goggles, mask and gloves and headed for the door. She followed him into the hallway and then watched him walk towards the main desk. Her body went numb as she watched Luka point to an empty room. A moment later, she watched him disappear into the room, closing the door behind him. As she stood frozen in the hallway, Abby felt her heart begin to race. She had no idea what was going on, but she felt scared and worried. Without thinking, she walked towards the room where Luka was taking his phone call with Carter. She watched through the open blinds as he stood with his back to her, his right hand was leaning against the wall and his head was cast downwards. She wanted desperately to be by his side, to hear his voice, but she couldn’t move. Something deep inside wouldn’t let her.
The ER around her was surprisingly quiet. Abby’s eyes remained fixed on Luka as he stood motionless for a long time. She wondered what he was saying. Finally, he moved. She watched as he walked back over the to receiver and hung up the phone. He didn’t turn around, instead he stood with both of his hands on his head, then he slowly ran then through his hair and down his neck. Abby knew enough to know that meant something was wrong. Luka only did that when he was upset or when he heard something that he didn’t want to hear. She held her breath.
Suddenly, Luka turned around. He didn’t see her, but she noticed the look of pure distress written all over his face. In one jerking movement, he picked up the suture tray and threw it across the room. Abby closed her eyes and swallowed hard as a loud crash erupted in her ears. A moment later, there was thud and a loud groan from Luka. Without even opening her eyes, she knew that he’d just punched the wall. Abby heard feet scrambling around her and she finally, slowly opened her eyes. She noticed that many of her coworkers were watching her every move. She knew, they were waiting for the next piece of juicy gossip and she resented them for having boring and uneventful lives.
Abby’s eyes darted in the direction of the suture room. She noticed that Luka was sitting on a chair, holding his hand close to his chest. Dr. Green was standing beside him. A moment later, Mark was in the hallway. He was walking towards Abby and she bit her lip. “Abby, Luka’s pretty upset,” he said. “I’m not sure what Carter told him, but he’s really distressed about it. I think he might have fractured his knuckle,” he said as he continued to walk by. “I’m going to get the portable x-ray machine. Maybe you should go talk to him.” Abby nodded and looked back at Luka sitting in the suture room. She swallowed hard as she began to walk in his direction. She knew that he was going to tell her something that she didn’t want to hear. Her only hope was that her reaction wouldn’t be as bad as his had been.
Abby opened the door quickly, stepped inside the suture room and then slowly closed the door behind her. She took a few steps towards Luka before he looked up at her. His eyes were glazed with tears and she noticed that he hand was bloody and swollen. “Here, let me look at that,” she said calmly. Luka held out his hand and grimaced in pain as Abby laid his hand on a pillow on the table in front of him. “Mark thinks you may have fractured it,” she added. Luka shook his head and pulled back his hand a little. “It’s not broken,” he said. “I told him I don’t need any x-rays.” Abby folded her arms across her chest and looked down at him. “It might not be a bad idea, Luka,” she said. “Just to be sure.” Luka rubbed his eyes with his free hand. She could see that he wanted to cry, but the tears wouldn’t come.
Abby waited a moment before she spoke. “Luka, what is it?” She finally said. “What did Carter say to you that has you this upset?” Luka shook his head and sighed deeply. “Luka, you can tell me,” she said softly. Luka stood up and cradled his arm close to his chest. “Abby, don’t be like that,” he said. Abby looked at him confused. “Like what?” She asked. “I’m just trying to…” Luka kicked the side of the wall with his foot. “Don’t be nice to me. I don’t deserve it,” he added. Abby stopped talking. “Okay, fine,” she said. “I won’t say anything at all until you tell me what the hell is going on,” she said with some anger and emotion in her voice. Luka turned his back to her and ran his free hand through his hair. “Oh, here it comes,” Abby thought to herself. Luka finally turned around and looked at Abby. When his eyes met hers, she finally saw how sad they really were. “Wow, this must be really bad,” she said with a laugh, trying to hide her emotion. Luka leaned against the counter. “Abby, I really don’t know how to say this to you,” he began. “But I can’t hide it anymore.” Abby took a few steps back and leaned against the wall. Her knees suddenly felt weaker then normal. “When I was in Africa, I was lost. I was searching for myself and I was at my lowest low,” he said. Abby nodded her head. “I know,” she said. “It’s different over there Abby. It’s like I lost all sense of who I was. I acted foolishly.” Abby closed her eyes for a moment and then looked up at him again. She knew it was time to take her beating. “There was this girl….” He said. After that, the room began to spin and Abby began to feel sick to her stomach. When Luka finished speaking and finally looked at her again, she felt a flood of emotions come over her. She wanted to yell, to scream, to cry, to throw a suture tray, to punch a wall just like Luka had done. But instead, she turned and walked out of the room. Without looking up from the ground, Abby pushed her way through the busy ER hallways and ran in the direction of the bathroom. She slammed the stall door closed behind herself and slid down onto the cold tile floor. She grabbed her knees and curled up in a ball and prayed that the nausea would pass, but with each thought that raced through her mind, it only grew stronger.
Abby replayed Luka’s words over and over in her head. “There was a girl……pregnant…..Carter……DNA test……she’s keeping it….” Abby bit her lip and tried to hold back the tears, but she knew they were inevitable. Here she was, crying alone on the bathroom floor. She should have known that this would happen. After all, she had been the one to drive both Luka and Carter to some destitute country on a search to find themselves. And look what it cost her. They had both fled to the same woman, someone probably much stronger and sane than she was. Now one of them was going to be a father. What had she done? As she sit on the bathroom floor hugging her legs close to her chest, Abby let the tears come. A rush of emotion was released from her burning chest as she cry alone on the floor and she wondered if things would ever be okay again.
I always said that'd be it That I wouldn't stick around if it ever came to this So here I am, so confused How am I supposed to leave when I can't even move? In the time it would have took to say "honey I'm home, how was your day?" You dropped the bomb right where we live And just expect me to forgive...
Chorus: Well that's a mighty big word for such a small man And I'm not sure I can Cause I don't even know now who I am It's too soon for me to say...forgive
I should ask but I won't Was it love or just her touch? Cause I don't think I wanna know So get you some things And get out Don't call me for a day or two So I can sort this out Well you might as well have ripped the life right out of me Right here tonight And through the fallin tears you said "Can you ever just forgive?"
Chorus
You know what they say Forgive and forget Relive and regret
Forgive...
Chorus
Oh...it's too soon for me to say FORGIVE
